A free trip to Disney vs. a trip to the Super Bowl (or a favorite location of yours)

My co-worker knowing I love the Disney parks asked me this about the Super Bowl. I picked the Super Bowl being such a big football fan and because it is a once in a lifetime experience. When will I ever get to go to a Super Bowl, especially with the prices they are?

So here is the question, a free all expense paid trip to Disney World staying on-site, free parks, meal plan, etc. or the Super Bowl experience? Meaning the tickets to the game, spending a few days before hand, a nice hotel you are staying at and restaurant gift certificates.

Or let's say you aren't a football fan. Let's say you want to go to Hawaii. Or somewhere in Europe. Or Vegas or wherever.

Bottom line is, despite the fact you've been to Disney before and will go again would you still take a free trip there over anywhere else?

I'd still go to Disney to take on all the wealthy perks and still go around Jan/ Feb that way when the Superbowl rolls in. The winners will be in MK for their parade AKA the day to avoid that park at all cost...

Still pick Disney as it is far more expensive than anything else that interests me 14 nights plus tickets flights and spending money for 6 of us lucky to get much change from $20,000. ( still think per person costs Disney is incredible value for what you get)

Sadly i do not like live events most sports can not really see whats going on and i am someone who loves to rewind and analyse moments.

Can I get a week at Tokyo Disneyland?
I certainly hope that the price of a Super Bowl ticket isn't as much as the second choice you gave us. So since I wouldn't cross the road to see the Super Bowl, I have to go with the Disney Trip. I have already done those other things as well. My son in law is a huge football fan. So I always go to their house to watch the Super Bowl, but, mostly because they serve Wings and Pizza. The only fun I get out of that in recent years is that he hates the Patriots, so I always cheer them on. Or whomever he want to win, I do the other team. Now that's the fun part of football for me.

lol, I'd still probably pick Disney mainly because I hate cold weather with nuclear capability and the super bowl is always in Jan/feb. My two sons went last year because finally, finally the Eagles were in it (not going to happen this year. lol). anyhoo they could not believe how Minnesota got. they had a good time but definitely said never again unless it's in Texas or Louisiana.

I would take Paris or Lisbon in a NY sec though. My ideal of heaven is the Regina hotel in Paris.

lol tthe cheapest ickets to the Eagles superbowl last year started around 1000 bucks. they can be insane. Maybe that's why John q. public isn't kvetching about Disney prices. they are already shell shocked from the price of entertainment venues

I'll go with Disney. I love me some football and the full SB experience would be great, but I'd be alone as nobody else in the family really pays it any attention. Making them happy along with myself is the goal, so an all expense trip staying at the Boardwalk sounds good to me!

I'm a big football fan but given the choice Disney wins all the way. :joyfull::joyfull: I love the Superbowl no matter whos playing but enjoy it a whole lot more while enjoying the game with friends at our annual Superbowl party. With our large screen TV, great food, drinks, friends and usually the commercials are fun to watch, being home for the game is best. I'll take a Disney trip over pretty much anything you can throw at me as another option.

I love to play all the different sports, but I never watch any pro or college sports. I feel it is extremely overrated.

I love going to Disney, we usually go twice a year. But there are other places I love or want to visit also. This year we went back to Jamaica.

If given the choice and knowing we would be going back to Disney in the future, I would choose a two week visit to the Greek Islands. This is a trip my wife and I plan to do in the next few years. Probably after we find some land to build our next house on.

The way I figure it, they would cost about the same. That said, I'd take WDW -- I've found that watching football games is better on TV than in any stadium I've ever visited.

The cheapest ticket to the super bowl in Minny last year was around $3000 for nose bleed.
Amazing... If they paid me that much I'd have to think about accepting it. But, that's just me, there's nothing wrong with football, just not something I ever got interested in. Maybe if the offered me $3K to go I'd tough it out.

I would love a free trip to wdw post epcot redo, but for now, I'd still rather have a free trip to disney.

Not much of a sports person, or an anywhere else person. Until nintendo world opens that is.
