A free trip to Disney vs. a trip to the Super Bowl (or a favorite location of yours)

Definitely the Super Bowl. As with anything, it's what you choose to make of the trip. A trip to the Super Bowl isn't just going to the game unless you choose to literally just fly in and fly out. The host cities have all kinds of fun things going on that week and depending on where it is, it could be a decent vacation destination all on its own. It's part of why cities like Miami, San Diego and New Orleans are favorites for the selection panel. And hey, if Miami, Jacksonville, or Tampa Bay were to host, you could find a way to do both without too much hassle.

Disney is open every day, and anyone can go whenever they want. The SuperBowl tickets, are not only expensive, but pretty difficult to obtain, and the SB only comes around once per year. I assume this would include flights and hotels to SuperBowl, which also become very expensive and hard to obtain. I have never been to a SuperBowl, but have been to WDW many times.

I am a suffering Jets fan, and if they made SB, I would rather pay to go to the SB, then get a free trip to WDW, however pigs would be flying outside the stadium for the game.

AMEN...I'm not holding my breath...I think we have a better shot at hitting Power ball or Mega Millions than winning a SB, but we can dream...(although it's more like a nightmare)...

I agree but I think that is a bad example since NFL players get paid tons of money while Disney cast members are underpaid.

Or maybe it is an even better example. I am not going to go to WDW, and give my money to the WDC so they can get even richer while underpaying their cast members

As a football fan I would choose the Superbowl. The other side of me says my dream trip to the Galapagos Islands and Machu Picchu or Northern European Cruise. At this point Disney would not be a choice.

You would have to pay me to go to the super bowl.

All my vacations the last 2 years have not been to WDW so, there is that too.

For me, if it gets too crowded, you can count me out.

But, yea, I would chose WDW or Superbowl.
