A farewell to Remember... Dreams Come True...and its resurrection

Forever is still the best show they've done, IMO. I like the faster pace of it, and I think the Disney songs just go better with fireworks than themes from attractions.

I miss the special effects too, like the snow and the inflatable seaweed. While I think Remember resonates more with hardcore fans of the park and with purists, the everyday, casual park-goer seemed to love Forever. It was truly a crowd pleaser. And that finale!!

I've said this before but the combination of PTN with DLF was almost overwhelming after so many years without a decent nighttime parade on Main Street. I was lucky enough to experience them together from the Main Street Depot mezzanine looking over Town Square with a straight shot view of Sleeping Beauty Castle (plus the tip top of the Matterhorn was clearly visible) and I was blown away by how incredible it all was.

It was a stunning snow. And looking around at all the faces of the the kids when it was snowing during "Let it Go" and those blue orbs shot up behind the castle was so much fun. Now THAT'S Disney magic to me.

Nostalgia is pretty much Disney's wheelhouse.

That's true, but to me it shouldn't have been given as much focus as it was over the past few decades. Once upon a time Disneyland and especially Disney World were considered places for forward thinking creativity and innovation. The more balanced mix of both new and old that we're starting to see today is greatly appreciated by this Disney Park fan.

Hey, what the heck? I prefer Remember, but I'm not a fireworks guy anyway as the explosions bother me. But the point still stands that people loved Forever, especially Frozen. When they started playing "Let it Go" it was like Beatle Mania. I swear, Frozen in live entertainment is like crack for Disney guests, especially women. It's scary to be around.

More like annoying to be around. I remember one night watching Forever, and these three pre-teen girls were belting out "Let it Go," but they purposefully were doing it in an annoying and obnoxious way. I quick turned to look at them and they stopped immediately.
