A Fantastic Trip With My Boyfriend & His Family!! April 2012

So we just got home from our trip to Disney on the 25th and I already want to go back. Trip planning all started back in January when my bfs mom decided she wanted to take the boys on a trip. What better place than Disney? Right! My boyfriend is in the military so he got a 40% discount on the 2 rooms that we had booked at Pop Century. We also got a 4 day park hopper pass.
Where: Disney's Pop Century Resort
When: April 18th - April 25th

Coming along on this journey was:
Me i'm 24 and love everything about Disney. This would be my 2nd trip.
My bf Brad. He's 21 and this would also be his 2nd trip.
We've been together for a year.

Ma Kim this would be her 4th time.

James which is 8 & Ryan which is 12. Both there first time.

Great start to your TR. We check into Coronado Springs on Friday the 11th! Can't wait! How did you like Wintersummerland? We are debating going either there or to Fantasia gardens for mini golf.

Yay so exciting!! Hope you have a safe & fun trip!!:so happy: We really liked Winntersummerland. But then we went to Fantasia and did the longer, harder course there and I thought that was way better. I love a challenge and Fantasia definitely gives you a challenge if you do the harder course.

Yay so exciting!! Hope you have a safe & fun trip!!:so happy: We really liked Winntersummerland. But then we went to Fantasia and did the longer, harder course there and I thought that was way better. I love a challenge and Fantasia definitely gives you a challenge if you do the harder course.

After swimming in he pool for a little while we finally decided to get out and get ready to head to DTD to get some dinner. We catches a bus down and decided to head over to wolf Gang puck for some food. No one has ever eaten there so this was a first for us all. We were seated rather quickly maybe because it was 9:30 at night? I decided to get the spaghetti n meatball plate, Brad got the mac n cheese i believe same as Ryan, I forget what everyone else got. But we all loved our food. Brad & Ryan decided to get desert. Ryan got the ice cream sundae and Brad got the ice cream on top of a cookie if I remember correctly. Once again I didn't take pics of the food. But everything was delicious. We headed out of there around 11 and slowly made our way back to the bus stop to head back to the resort for bed. We had a long day of Epcot ahead of us.

The morning came quickly. Once again I was the first one up and out of bed into the shower. By the time I got out of the shower everyone else was up. It was around 9 when we got out of the hotel room and headed down to Pop dining to get some breakfast. It was pretty warm out and it looked like it was going to be beautiful day for Epcot.

After eating our breakfast we headed to the bus stop for Epcot it was around 10 now. The line wasn't long at all so we got the first bus which came pretty quickly. We made it to Epcot. This was our first Park to go to so the boys were pretty excited to hit some rides and do other stuff. First thing we had to do was go straight to the ticket booth to activate our park hopper ticket cards so that we could get in. After that we walked right in.

We took some pictures then noticed Space Ship Earth didn't have a long wait line at all. So that was our first ride of the trip. Brad and I road together, Ryan & James together and Ma kim went alone. I love this ride i think its neat. everyone else liked it as well.

After that ride was over we headed over to the weather thing. I forget the name of it haha. We didn't have long for the next show time. We were seated rather quickly. It was a neat little show.

We headed over to club cool so everyone could try the sodas from everywhere. I wanted to get everyones reaction on Beverly. I have a video of it I will upload soon. But NOONE liked it as usual. haha

After club cool we headed out and went to the butterfly exhibit. There was so many beautiful butterflies. It was neat to see. We decided to go over and ride Finding nemo. It was a quick little ride. We stuck around in the aquarium part for a while and checked out the fish and dolphins swimming around.

After we were done watching the fish we headed over to the world Pavilion. People were walking towards the exit of the park in a hurry cause of the really dark clouds above us. As we were walking it started to pour so we broke out our ponchos.

It just kept pouring so we went inside a store in France and camped out til it slowed down. The store was packed with people waiting out the rain. We decided to go into the little bakery next door and get something yummy to snack on. I got the cheesecake which was delicious. James got a caramel apple and I don't remember what anyone else got. But everyone liked it all. It finally stopped pouring hard so we decided to head back out and explore. We went into a couple more shops to look around. We were going to do the pick a shell and get a pearl for a piece of jewelry then we realized how expensive it was so we kept moving along.
It was getting close to dinner time so we were trying to decide on where we should eat. Everyone was craving some chinese food. But didn't know the best place to eat. We stopped and looked at some different menus. We went and got in line for one restaurant but the wait was too long so we stopped at the next place where u just walk up to the counter and order then get your food and find a place to sit. I forget the name of the place but I do have a picture of the food this time.

The food was very good and very filling. After eating it looked like it was going to start raining again so we headed for the nearest ride which was Maelstrom. The wait time was only 15 minutes but it didn't seem that long. Brad and I decided while waiting we would buy 2 umbrellas for ourselves before the rain came again. We got the cute panda bear ones and game our ponchos to the boys. Once we got those it started to pour. But soon enough we were onto the Maelstrom ride. I've never been on this so it was a first for us all. It was a neat ride and we all liked it.

After Maelstrom there was one more ride for us to go on and that would be Soarin. I went on it my last trip and i loved it. So i was hoping everyone else would too since this would be there first time on the ride. The wait time was 70 minutes but we decided to stick it out anyways since it was raining out and we had 2 hours til the Illuminations show was to start. I like the little interaction games that they have in the line I think they are neat. After our long wait we finally got onto the ride. Everyone loved it. By this time it was almost 8:45 so we had to hurry and go find a good spot for the Illuminations show. But we were too late the good spots were all taken so we had to try and sneak in by people. We stood by the gift store. Our view wasn't too bad. James got ontop of Brads shoulders so he could see the show.

The show was good as usual. After it was over we headed out of the park and back to the bus stop. It was already after 10. Our bus didn't take long to get there and we were back at our resort and into bed for our early morning at Hollywood Studios.

Everyone woke up early the next morning. We got ready and headed down to the cafeteria for some breakfast. After breakfast we headed over to the bus stop to head to Hollywood studios. The bus line was very short and we didn't have long to wait. It was cloudy out and looked like it was going to rain but we went out to venture anyways. we made it to the park and had to wait in the bag line. It didn't take too long to get through. We took some pictures of the crows in the park which were not that bad.

The parade was going so we stopped on the sidewalk and watched that for a few minutes.

We wandered our way over to the Backlot tour. We were let right in as we got there. There weren't many people waiting to get in.

On our way out of the tour we stopped for some pictures with these guys.

While the boys & ma kim got there pictures with them Brad and I went to check out Honey I struck the kids play area. Heres the big kid at heart having a little fun.

We then headed over to catch the Lights Motor Action show. We were right on time for it to start. WE snapped a few pictures on our way in.

And then it finally started. This was a first for everyone to see except me.

Everyone liked the show. After that we headed over to Toy Story Mania. Again this ride was a first for all the boys. The wait time was 90 minutes but we decided to wait it out.

The wait didn't see that bad after being in line for a while. We took some pictures while waiting and had fun with Mr potato head.

We finally made it to get onto the ride. James & RYan went together with Brad and I behind them.

Brad one of course. He must have cheated I can't figure it out. After getting off the ride it was time to get some food we were all hungry. We weren't sure where we wanted to eat. We came up to Sci Fi Dine and decided to head in there for some food. The wait time was only 15 minutes which wasn't that bad.

We were seated rather quickly. It was a different and fun environment. I don't remember what we all had to eat except Brad had the burger with the hotdog on top of it. Which he really enjoyed. All our food was pretty good and our service was great too.

After eating we decided to head back over to Toy Story Mania since everyone enjoyed the ride and Ma Kim wanted to go on. Again the wait time was pretty long but we decided to wait again and get inside cause it was about to start pouring anyways.
