A board just for Cast Members?

Here's a forum that I would like to see one day. On WDWM, we have a good number of people who work for Disney, wether it's WDW, DL or any other division of the company. After seeing a CM-only board on the DIS, I think it would be great to have one here as well.

Of course, we would have to set it up for private access only and prove that we are actually Cast Members (Like sending in our ID info, ect.)

So is anyone interested in having a board like this?

Thanks for the suggestion. I understand where you are coming from, and I agree it would be good for the CMs to have a place to hang out. However, I also think it would be really unfair to the nonCMs to know that there is another board that they cant see. Its always been one of my aims with WDWMAGIC to turn things a little inside out, and get some of the "inside" info outside for Disney fans to see. If we had a CM only board it would really be doing the opposite to that.

What type of discussion would you like to see in there?

Its been discussed and rejected already....too many sections = too many problems...

Somewhere on the web, it would be fun to have such a site. I do like WDWMagic the way it is, though... everything open to all (other than a special area for those who are supporting the site).

This is, after all, a 'fan' site its encouraging that guests and cast members alike can share that.

Are you sure there isn't one? I would assume there must be enough current/former cast members to support one. And castmembers could always go to the one you mentioned.

However since Steve is neither, nor are the majority of the contributing members, I really don't think we're about ask Steve to set up a forum we can't access. In order to join the PML, you just have to pay your $5; to join SOJI, you just have to contact one of their moderators. To become a cast member, you have to quit your job, move to Orlando, California, Paris, or Japan, and get a job at Disney.

How about a families only forum? (You'll have to show a marriage license or your child's birth certificate) Maybe a singles only? (We'll take your word for it....riiight)

Probably the same stuff i talk about in the breakroom with other CM's, and hence the reason guesties can't see it

What...and wreck the magic for us? Please...we've pretty much heard it all.....So spill it...no need for a "private" forum.....
