A adult hidden message in Lion King 1 1/2!!!

I though the movie was "FUNNY" and humorous.
But...
The only problem I had was that disney was adding a hidden message throughout the movie-Tumon and Pumba are both "GAY"!?!?

This is what I found-
1.Tumon is banashed by his family because he is "DIFFERENT" (Only his mother loves him)
2.Later Tumon runs into Pumba-Pumba says hes "DIFFERENT" also.
3.Tumon and Pumba set off on a adventure to find Akuna ma tata.-On the way there Tumon says "This can be like a... Aquantince." He was about to say relationship...
4.When they arrive at Akuna ma tata-Tumon sleeps with Pumba and ends up kissing him while they are eating.
5.Tumon and Pumba end up adopting-Simba-"They are now parents"
6.When Tumon finds out that Simba has found himself a girl, Nala-He ends up freaking out about it. Like he hates girls or something, hes disgusted untle he sees Simba happy.
7.Finally Tumon runs into his Uncle again and his mother-Tumon is wearing a dress, his uncle looks disgusted while his mom just ignors it. They also meet Pumba, and the same reaction occurs again.

I think its odd that Disney is adding these adult messages... But even my little 10 year old brother noticed it.

I don't know, stuff like this always happens in cartoons where the characters seem gay. Take Roger Rabbit, Bugs Bunny, ect.

well i havent watched the movie. but i thought that timon and pumba were swingin bachelors who were upset that their buddy got hooked up with the "old ball and chain"... from the first movie anyways

I realize that it might have been inappropriate in a Disney movie, but if kids don't learn about homosexuality, they will only know what they hear, they will think it is gross, and it will turn into ignorance. I have experienced this in my school, people will call something "gay" or they will call someone a "f ag", and they really don't understand what they are saying.
I'm sorry if I seem like I'm rambling on about nothing, I'm really not trying to, I just have very strong opinions on the subject.

LOL... I agree what you mean... But Disney has no right to teach kids about this... Especially when they are that young. Little boys might think its ok to kiss your best friend because Timon and Pumba did... lol.. I think it might be a ok idea to teach kids that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, its just a life style.

Timon and Pumbaa aren't gay. Like Bert and Ernie, they just live together. Saying that Timon and Pumbaa are gay is like suspecting that the Seven Dwarves were gay before they met Snow White. Okay, I should'nt be talking because I've been suspecting that all the male smurfs are either gay or that Smurfette is a . That and I also suspect that Barney's a pedophile because he hangs out with all those kids and yet he doesn't act on dinosaur instinct and eat them.

Well, I don't see how this thread will last too much longer, lol, but can I just say... Kev, when I grow up I wanna be just like you! :lol: :kiss:

I don't know if we should be too worried about "messages" sent to kids. It was always my understand that either one is gay or one is not. Is this not the way? I'm thinking that my kids would see it as a friendship, and the kiss I'm going to assume is a play on the Lady and the Tramp kiss? And the dress is a throwback to the first Lion King when Timon dressed in drag and did the hula. Nobody that I know of was too up in arms about that. Again, I've not caught it yet, but I intend to. Maybe that would clear things up.
