Hi all. I have read threads about ladies wearing cycling shorts in the parks for comfort and practicality.
Do any guys wear these? My parter loves them as they are so comfortable, just wondered if any one else does? Wears them out at home happily enough…..

What’s it matter if others wear them? No one will care if he’s wearing them. There are so many guests wearing assorted wear that he won’t be seen as odd stand out. If it is comfortable for him and allows him to be able to manage the heat better then he should pack them. Nobody’s going to be judging his clothing or comment on them.

While I would personally not have an issue with what he is wearing, you can bet that a lot of people will be judging and commenting on it - even though not directly to him.

As mentioned, women who talk about wearing them are wearing them under dresses. That's the difference.

you mean with the chamois pad? I dont enjoy them that much when i cycle, i cant see that being comfortable all day in the humid florida weather. As far as tights without the chamois as long as hes wearing a long shirt not a big deal at all... but a shorter shirt might be a little risque.

Or with a gentleman wearing them under their kilts

Under a pair of lose shorts no one will even notice, if that’s all he’s wearing and they’re “revealing” he may not make it past security, not sure I’d risk it, depending on the guard he may be waved through or told to go back to the hotel to change.

Ok, just to clarify- biking/cycling shorts include the large cushion pad between the legs, I really hope no one is wearing those! If you're simply talking spandex tight fitting shorts (which I am assuming you are)- women ok, men questionable.
