Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

That’s fine, that makes sense. The exclusive snacks aren’t discounted; they’re just normal Disney snack prices so I don’t see why for example they can’t offer those to everyone.

True - definitely some of it is the exclusivity and uniqueness of being able to have access to them (obviously something not unique to Disney)

And they usually do have some of the food offering available all day long and then some are party only

They do this with the holidays but that is a very different circumstance. MVMCP ends about a week or so outside of Christmas so they open up MVMCP offerings to regular admission. All passholders except IncrediPass are blocked out. It is also a very busy time and admission tix are higher priced.
Isn't it just the parade and it's in the daytime? I don't think any of the party-exclusive characters, nighttime shows, or other stuff is shared with the regular guests even during Christmas week.

I say this not to be rude to anyone who loves it, but I've watched numerous videos of this year's MNSSHP and it has been stated repeatedly that the event is the same as it has been for several years save for some minor character changes. I guess I am struggling to understand what exactly you get for ~$120-220. None of the exclusive snacks are included, not even one sample. You get candy, a parade, and fireworks (which technically, you could watch from outside the park). I guess I am just confused on what makes this worth the price tag at this point. Not bashing anyone, honestly just genuinely curious. I guess people keep going due to habit/nostalgia. On its face, paying these prices for a parade seems crazy to me. I don't think anyone would pay $120 for even a huge bag of candy either. So I feel like I must be missing something. The price keeps going up but multiple people have said nothing is being added to the experience.

Also right now it is so sweltering hot that takes away from some of the enjoyment too, but if you wait for the possibility of cooler weather the price skyrockets.
I think most people just purchase it in lieu of a normal ticket on the day that they go. You get cooler weather with infinite shade, lower crowds, higher-than-normal character and show density, and unlimited candy to stop your kids from asking for Mickey bars. 🤷‍♂️

I have the Pixie Dust M-F pass. I'm seriously considering a Sunday night party on my check in day.

The perspective may be different for someone who lives close to WDW vs. out of state. My family will build our trip around the parties. And the years we don't get to a party (especially Christmas) it feels like we missed something.

I broke down the number of food items that were party-exclusive vs available during regular hours. It isn’t even close.

This was our plan for our trip last week. The 3-day, 3 park pass and our MK day was Friday’s (8/22) party.

Edited to add…

Of course, the plan included watching the fireworks from O’hana during Tuesday night’s party. With our large party (16) we sent the kids with mother-in-law to have the fireworks view table while the adults sat behind the grill. At 9:51, the kids come running past us with my mother-in-law behind them, because apparently the waiter told them the view was better from the beach. 🤬 So, I got to stand through the fireworks and the kids who showered before dinner were covered in sand.

I wanted to do that for our November trip (but with the Christmas party) but the 3-parl pass is not offered then (Only through mid Sept I believe) ... instead doing 3 day ticket with park hopper and will cost me more than $500 more for our 4 tickets doing it that way *sigh*

Several of the adults on our trip questioned why we did not just get a 6-day pass like we had in the past. When I showed them the difference between the numbers only 2 of 16 decided they wanted the 6-day pass.
