Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2025

Dear Disney, makes those Pumpkin Puppets become a recurring thing!
I want plushies.
As I was leaving after midnight or so, Cast were lined up near the exit turnstiles literally trying to get you to stuff extra candy in your pockets!
Any container you had, even hats on your head, they were trying to fill with candy.
That was ages ago…but a fun memory.
I attended one... 10-ish years ago, and CMs were begging us to take as much candy as we could physically cary. I may have agreed to help with this endevor, and walked out with quite a bit more candy than Disney probably would have liked (and a very heavy hat, bag, and pockets).

Always did like that….how the CMs really lay on the candy near the end of the night.
This is yet another reason Guests should wait to trick or treat later on….

I remember one season many years ago when attending one of the HallowParties.

Why? What is the point of this when the candy can be saved and given out at the next party?

I always had the impression that each party has a certain allotment of candy to be given away on average, and the goal is to give that amount away to insure none is leftover after the season is over.

It might be why near the end of the evening Cast tend to be even more generous in filling your bags…and trying to empty out the barrels for the evening.
If they were trying to save what they could for the next party, I would think we would be seeing different behavior.

It was great!
Glad I was not the only one who appreciated this.

Trust me you do not want a new parade made during this era of budgeteering, it won't beat boo to you, it would slash the amount of floats, performers and then pretend like nothing is wrong.

Boo to You is a parade that's more than the sum of its recycled parts

While it lacks any one spectacular float, it makes up for that in number of performers, fun and energy

Maybe best would be rather than a totally new parade just update this one (could just call it "Boo 2 You") and noder ize the floats, maybe add some newer characters (a Coco segment, etc) but still keep a lot of the classic elements (ballroom dancers, grave diggers, hitchhiking ghosts, etc) - would think it would be less of a $ investment for Disney but still add something new they could market

Yeah, they could never retire this song, it's way too iconic. I would take a Nightmare float, and a Coco segment would be a great addition too. If it meant any cuts, I feel like Ralph could go. Outside of it being candy themed, I felt that this segment never really fit in the Halloween parade.

It definitely needs a nightmare float, it's insane that Disneys most popular Halloween property isn't in their Halloween parade at their flagship resort.

Ralph was originally Goofy's Candy Company, same branding as what was sold in the park

Goofy making and giving away his candy made a little more sense than a unit about a candy themed video game.
