Assuming however you could stack the discounted kids tickets on the room only savings though, correct? We really aren't dining plan people to begin with so we'd probably do better with the room savings in general. Trying to figure out some sort of short three/four night trip to see starlight in late summer.
Shouldn't they be able to book room only and then purchase the tix separately with the kids half price discount? Unless the kids half off needs to be part of hotel package, but the article didn't specify that.

Not sure if that would really have the impact as it does exclude MK, which would be the lure to get the younger families over in the first place. Marie
True - guess I was referring more to the 50% off kids promo than this one, plus the dance parties and the character stuff they are doing at the resorts and the overall "Cool Kid Summer" promo

Interesting releasing the rest of the year AP discounts early.

AP offerings are scaled back from last year.

Only 8 days total in November…. I guess they’re feeling their oats on demand that they don’t need AP Holders anymore. Or it’s not worth discounting rooms to meet growth numbers.

Free Dining Plan Returns to Disney World for Summer and Fall 2025 Vacations

For clarification -- I'm confused...

The article says "The offer is now available to all guests for travel on select dates in Summer and Fall 2025," but the fine print says "Disney Visa cardholders."

"Important Information
  • Minimum 4-night stay and 4-day Park Hopper ticket required.
  • Disney Visa Cardmember must stay in the room.
  • Use a valid Disney Visa Card for deposit payment.
  • Limited availability—book early for best selection.
  • Dining gratuities not included."

Maybe they just missed updating the "fine print"? Disney Visa users had early access to the offer Mar 20-26

Yes you can do this - I checked it. I think the only downside is that you have to purchase the tickets up front and then you put the deposit amount on the hotel room so the initial payment is more than if you booked it as a package so I imagine that's a detriment to some folks.

Apologies, updated article to remove that line.

There used to be tricks and loopholes like buying tickets for only 1 person in the party or buying only tickets for 1 day. But I believe they check for that.

Free Dining is not always a good deal. So do your homework before going down that path.

Yes, you can stack the % off room promos with the discounted kids tickets. The key is you have to book the reservation and tickets separately, so you don't get the luxury of paying overtime. Originally booked a vacation package for the first week in June. Just canceled it and booked the room and tickets separately. Saving almost $600.

Free dining is not free if you have to buy a park hopper.
It can be a great deal for families already planning to get hoppers and the dining plan. I had a client who already had a weeks reservation at Pop, 2 adults/2 kids, Disney dining plan, 4 day park hopper. I applied the discount when it was released and their total went down by $1400. That’s way more than any Pop room discount would save them.
