DHS MuppetVision 3-D's Future: Potential Disney Park Venues and Vision Pro Immersive Experience

Not really a real alternative but oh well, not like Disney really cares. I wish a museum would pay the cost to preserve it and show it somewhere but that would never happen. So sad to lose a piece of history and not have a way to experience it in the way it was meant to be experienced. Jim's last magnum opus apparently is worthy of just being a "VR" experience and not being the complete authentic original experience.

The world must truly be in a sorry state when we are now all living in a time without Jim’s ‘MuppetVision 3D’.

Let that sink in.

DisneyDan put out his MuppetVision farewell video, but he did do some speculating on Muppet*Vision working at Sunset Showcase, such as the fact the Villains show using screens on the walls to do similar effects of the walls in Muppet Vision getting destroyed, and the fact that Sunset has almost the same seating capacity as Muppets did. I time stamped where Dan starts using both Mermaid and Villians as examples how Disney could put the Muppets back at Sunset (Dan states that with Mermaid using projections for some of the puppets, instead of AAs Disney could replace some of them with projections for example):

I really don’t typically buy into the ideas of things like relocations happening. But there is one thing that does make me really wonder if it is gonna happen and it’s how chill everyone associates with Henson has appeared to be about it.

We’ve not heard any relatives, anyone from The Jim Henson Company, or anyone close to the Muppets speak about it in any big way, and even had someone from the company say he felt the Muppets were in good hands. I just can’t help but feel that if it was truly dead we’d have seen more of a reaction?

Unless they all are just actually fine with it living only in VR.

I kinda think it’s in disneys back pocket as an easy Hail Mary if/when they need it. Like quietly they can be working on it and announce it if something gets a lot of backlash or smth to help divide focus. I’m still convinced that’s what they did for HEA, it was a super easy back pocket reserve thing that was guaranteed to make people happy
