Think there's gonna be any kind of procedure to be in the last showing? Gonna be there as well and trying to plan. Obviously want *a* goodbye, but would love to be in the final (non-CM) showing (I know, me and everyone else there that day lol, but it pays to try and plan...)

I know it's not quite the same, but at TriceraTop Spin they just made it really clear that the line closed at 6 and if you weren't in the line at that time you didn't ride.

That sorted everything out; at a certain point you had to accept your place in line because the alternative was getting out and getting no ride.

Or they could pull a Splash Mountain and close the line early. Or it'll pull a Country Bear and break down for the last show

The curtain has been out of action this week, and as of today.
Still out as of yesterday, May 30.

Fog effects however, including the blast of fog from the left of the movie screen, is working great.
All animatronics are also working 100%…including the subtle effects ( arrows in the walls, cannon fire, etc.)
Even Sweetums’ performance is top notch and full of energy!

Saw two showings today to say ‘goodbye’.
Crowd was lively and was loving every minute of it.
This Show still packs a fun punch with Guests.

It truly is a tragedy this is being removed.
All of those carefully sculpted statues, theatre decor, and other wonderful details will be lost.
Not to mention the perfect blend of combined elements that makes this Show so unique.

I truly hope some of those figures over the exit doors and the beautiful sculpture that hangs above the stage will be salvaged.
Those things are truly works of fine art.

It's amazing how much energy Sweetums running loose and the audience calling out to him adds to the already chaotic show.

I would just ask the CMs present what their advice would be on that. I would imagine you're not the only one with the same idea though. I've no doubt there's gonna be a few people camping out in the area all day to try and get into the final queues.

Was there a big turnout for Triceratop's final day?

It was more a big turn out for Chester and Hester's final day and TriceraTop Spin was the rideable part of it, but yeah.

Here's the picture I took from the back of the line (it went outside the queue) at closing time:

Edit: It had relatively high wait times through the day, too. It was over Everest and equal to the safari at one point.

I am friendly with a ‘friend’ of Sweetums.
He is a joy to see in action, and nobody souses those penguins with water better then him!

Sweetums will be missed.
Not only by us fans, but also by those who helped bring him to the show.

Can I ask how he was trained to be a friend of Sweetums? My understanding, at least years ago, is that everyone who became a friend of Sweetums had to get trained by Jim Henson Studios on his mannerisms. I'm guessing that isn't the case anymore unfortunately but was just curious.

On site training as far as I am aware.
He is friendly with several characters.

We talk about entertainment topics once in a while when we meet up in person, but I have not asked specifically about this ‘friendship’.
