Sooo.... in the end... we knew all the floats.

What we didn't know was that the finale of Mickey and Friends was going to host 3 other IPs in a megafloat.
That's similar to the finale of SpectroMagic, which was several IPs in a string of floats, much like the concept art we saw here tonight.

It's very clear to me that the main inspiration for this parade is SpectroMagic rather than MSEP, and that is a HUGE, HUGE WIN.

I’m very lucky that my trip plans will let me be there on opening night, but million dollar question becomes how early do I have to post up on main street in order to get a spot? I’m worried the answer might end in an AM
Normal people won't be lined up in the AM. Id like to think you'd be fine grabbing a spot at 6, but i think I depends if you absolutely need to be on main street? If so, maybe you'll have to be there before FOF.

I always thought it sounded like a product on a 1am kitchen cleaning infomercial
It was a joke inside WDE (who produced the parade) that Spectro sounded like a horrific skin disease. A doctor would read your test results and tell you, with a solemn voice "I'm sorry, but you have... spectromagic. There is no cure."

That's what I was referring to. Although now that I think about it , sure does sound a lot more like a cleaning product...

Here's a look at Mickey, Minnie and Goofy in their costumes:

These definitely look like spin-offs from year of a million dreams. Not a bad thing just saying that's what they look like.

Hummmmm..... I think the train is big homage to MSEP along with the "pixie dust trail" along the bottom edges of the floats

Musically I agree though, very much The spiritual successor of spectromagic.

I am interested to see the logistics of running this just with how crowded the Hub gets

I know they did this in the past and CMs will figure it out but so many guests now have never been when a night parade was running might be a little dicey first few nights.

Especially with the length of the last float. Hope they took into account the corners it has to make.
