The Wilderness Lodge setting is well...the wilderness. It should most definitely not have a monorail running through it.

It makes as much sense as a monorail running through a Polynesian village or turn of the century beach resort

I believe the charm of the WL is it feels a bit removed from Disney World. A monorail would ruin that.

Legoland Florida had done that when we visited at the end of 2022.

Can you imagine the Animal Kingdom. EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Main lot all being covered by solar panels? All parking could be covered and shaded and they would generate a ton of energy...
