Second location would be from RoA, I would assume. But they're still waiting on permitting fixes for that, right? They'll probably do all they can from this location.

There are multiple ways to have a crane on the Rivers of America side completely separate from the water management modifications.

If you zoom in, you can see that there's a BJ's wholesale club refrigerated semi trailer parked there. I wonder what that's all about.

Thats the storage for the halloween party candy. Theres another in the north bypass and a third near tomorrowland terrace. When you rent trailers short term they give you whatever they have handy off-lease.

Ease is relative. It’s not something that they’d just do overnight. If they want to keep the Rivers open during the work then a barge crane could allow that.

I'm an engineer, though one with zero insight to how this project will work. However, if this was my project, I'd blow out concrete in the center of the ride for foundation of the tower crane and use this spot as a laydown yard and to stage track for rigging. The central crane could be assembled by a telescoping crane from this location as well. The theming could then be rebuilt fairly quickly after the crane is removed.

I doubt they would go to that much effort. Compared to building an entire structure, there are a small number of pieces that need to be moved so they will probably take the easiest route. A barge on the river would make the most sense.

Does the river have enough draft to allow a barge crane big/heavy enough to work in the area? I don't think i have been on the river other than back and forth to TSI in decades and don't remember how deep it gets. I thought the paddle boat was track operated so the water didn't really need to be all that deep, but i could be confusing that with the TSI barges.
