I miss the waterShow was an absolute delight, I really hope we see more of the transparent screen projections in the future because it offers some incredible depth to a stage show

The new show is a little over 20 minutes long but it's 40 minutes between shows. I would guess it was more like 30 minutes between shows before. But, it's been 5 years. May be misremembering.
I have directed a few musicals now where my leads can get through a show without a single bum note. Some people can just do it. I don’t know why that’s so difficult to believe. You here vocal flubs, sharps and flats on Broadway all the time. Never at a Disney stage performance.

Other than the embarrassingly bad animation - what was a downgrade?I recently saw this show. Thought it was fine. Not an upgrade from the OG. But only a SLIGHT downgrade.
Probably the over-reliance of it. Though I am curious to know.Other than the embarrassingly bad animation - what was a downgrade?

I still say animation-wise they should nix Triton and sisters. Their designs are over the uncanny valley but still ugly as heck. I think the story would work just as well without them. Or rework it so the mermaid sisters are in silhouette with an actual actor for Triton.
No inside information on this one but I would guess making LLMP more valuable. MarieNot having been at the park since it debuted... is this a case of trying to make LLMP look more valuable at DHS than it actually is?
OR
Does Mermaid actually fill up and not always have space for everyone in the queue?
I saw the show twice on my last trip, and the queue filled up thirty minutes before the next show. Not having been at the park since it debuted... is this a case of trying to make LLMP look more valuable at DHS than it actually is?

Yes, i saw the show a couple of times in July and they do fill the theatre.Does Mermaid actually fill up and not always have space for everyone in the queue?

Sounds like this is actually an OK use of a LL vs something like Philharmagic, Monsters Inc, First time in forever, BATB, or Nemo.Yes, i saw the show a couple of times in July and they do fill the theatre.
The frozen sing along has Lightning Lane and was never full.
(Don’t judge…. I have to see the citizens of Hollywood any way I can! Haha)
