DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I knew about the concept art, I'm just wondering if the figures are going to be animated/move uniquely, or if it's just another basic carousel. The carousel at Epic Universe is unique, but nothing crazy. Even though this new carousel is an A-Ticket (B-Ticket if we're being generous, though the castle park carousels were only ever A Ticket iirc), it should still offer something unique for being a carousel built in 2025.

Maybe each animal character moves in a different way- Eeyore moves up and down really slowly, Bambi does short hops/prances, Kevin has big up and down strides, Kaa "slithers" by rotating side-to-side or has several seats that go up and down in a wave pattern, etc etc. Lots of things they can do to make it more unique than Prince Charming's Carousel. Will they do it though? We'll have to wait and see.
(Also, is that Heimlich behind Bambi and Eeyore? If so, what a cute way to honor It's Tough to Be a Bug!)
I’m sure Disney will try to find a way to incorporate some cool elements into this Carousel considering the reception of Epic’s.

I actually hope they leave it as a nice simple carousel. The quiet peaceful rides that aren’t super overwhelming from a sensory standpoint are either disappearing or on the chopping block. Leave something for cautious little kids and seniors! My little guy is just now starting to ride merry-go-rounds… no way I could get him on the one at Epic Universe though.

You don’t think Disney can deliver a solid lighting package for this ride ??

There so many carousel styles out there with cool little gimmicks.

They are not afraid to show off new technology when trying to impress the GP.

I'm certain that Disney can light it up with blue lighting and also spend $150 million to make it a themed carousel. That's as far as I would go.

I still think the carousel would probably fit better somewhere in Discovery Island.
This.

Why on earth can’t they stick this just past the entry area…like just past the animal exhibits or something? It would fit a lot better than shoving it in this new land. Heck, there was originally a concept for a carousel (double decker I believe) as a focal point after entry at one point…before they finally settled on the Tree of Life.

Why don't they build a dark ride based on The Jungle Book.... can't get more animal baswed than that.... and use the original animated cartoon characters.... It could be charming and theme appropriate...with great music and memorable songs...
They have historically for whatever reason seemed to be very dismissive of Jungle Book. I’m genuinely shocked they did a live action remake of it (the 2010s one to be clear; for my money it’s the best one they’ve done). I think a Jungle Book dark ride would be an easy win but they seem to just have no interest. And I don’t mean just modern Disney either, it’s been mostly ignored by all eras of the company since it came out.

I think it would make for a great retheme of Kali river rapids.

The most Disney has ever cared about the Jungle Book was taking some the characters and making them fly planes for some reason.

I wasn't actually talking about lighting in particular... Looks like lots of lanterns.... Does not seem any more impresive than that....it is the whole experience... it looks like a carousel with Disney character themed seating....I thik if it was going to have more sophisticated movements and effects they would have already been marketing it....
and they did not do so well with the lighting package at Celebration Gardens or whatever it is called....
