Worth pointing out they removed the pink river in front of Casita in the concept art

I can’t help but think there is some imagineer out there trying VERY hard to make a pink walkway/river/feature happen and keeps getting shot down. First it was that twisty pink road to the Epcot Tabletop, then the pink river around Casita… they’re the same exact color. I half expect it to show up again in the next round of Villainsland concept art.

It looked cool in the concept art. But I’m not sure how it could have been executed without it looking like one of those cheap 192 golf courses with the waterfalls with dyed water.

The river in real life is pink from plants growing underwater. I’d imagine that they would have done the same thing in Animal Kingdom. The water itself wouldn’t have been dyed

There are similar waterways (just not pink) in Disney Springs and Pandora. Definitely could’ve worked.

I've been wondering about this.

Do we think that big gift shop (at the end of Dinosaur currently, that is still in the artwork for Tropical Americas) is going to be the main gift shop of TA and have like 75% Encanto Merch and like 25% Indy merch? Or does it show in the permits that Encanto is going to have a gift shop attached to the new build for that ride, and the other gift shop will be solely Indy?

I think this is the old C&H gas station gift shop. I assume they will re-use the building and keep it as a gift shop

Got to assume the Mirable meet and greet will move from MK to AK when Tropical Americas opens. Could they add a gift shop to the Encanto show building for Encanto merch, Indiana Jones merch in the Dino Institute store and Chester and Hester's be converted into a meet and greet space?

Yeah, that was my mistake! I always exit Dinosaur and take the path that ends at C&H and, for some reason, in my head, I associate it as the Dinosaur exit gift shop, even though it is not at all that haha!

It is a large gift shop, and has some of the best merch as well!

Originally, it broke free and went to the side of the river close to the institute to splash in the water as you saw him on the former Discovery River Tour..

Then some French people came and captured him and skinned him alive and was a part of the backlot tour at Disney Studios Paris..

Still baffles me to this day why they did this.

More pictures from the demolish of Dinorama, it looks like most (if not all) of the trees behind the former Primeval Whirl have been removed and the Dino Institiute sign is now in the process of being removed

To be fair, it looks like they've changed now as they know they have a brand new park to go up against. Pandora's land clearing started in 2014 and opened in 2017. So if this opens up in 2027 then that's progress.
