In a new update on the Disney Parks Blog, an image was included in the post that appears to imply Dinosaur will be open and available to ride through 2025:

Through 2025 is pretty big. I was a bit worried that the announcement at D23 wouldn't give people enough time to go visit it before it closes, but if it's really open through all of 2025, then there's plenty of time for people to plan to go give it once last go around. Makes me hope the Alioramus comes back...

I guess if someone wants to go see It's Tough to Be a Bug, now's the time, though.

I love both. I’d be fine with either outcome, I’ll be happy either way.

But Why couldn’t we have Indiana Jones Fights Dinosaurs: The Ride?
That just sounds awesome.
It really seems like the easiest solution that makes the most people happy. Change it into Indy stumbling upon a secret underground world filled with dinosaurs with the entrance being the temple. Only animatronic you'd really need to replace is Aladar, and given how he looks like an actual Iguanodon on the ride and not the movie Aladar, you don't even really need to, strictly speaking.

Plus they don't even have to ditch the concept art they already have done, they can have that in the lab area leading up to the "time jump" (now just going underground).

I know it's not happening but, hey.
Good to know we will have all of 2025 and some of 2026 to enjoy DINOSAUR!!
Not sure what it means for Tropical Americas, but Josh did say dirt was moving so....
IMO, Encanto was always gonna be the bigger lift. Indy is more about retooling a building that's already there, which is doable in a year.

Really hope this means they're gonna give Dinosaur a big send off. I want merch, I want an event, and I want the ride looking its best. Hell, bring back Countdown To Extinction as the name near the end. I'm sad to see it go but if it has to leave they should make it a celebration. Also with an extra 6 months to a year of life, it makes sense why they've been repairing a bunch of the effects. Maybe the Allioramus will make a return?

I did a blog post that looked at the SFWMD filings for Tropical Americas, and then made some educated guesses about where and what everything is. Here's the end result map:

Expansion Plot? Also I'm shocked they aren't leaving the C&H giftshop building standing and reusing it as retail.

Don't push it! There's still going to be construction walls everywhere and the destruction of much of what I love. But Dinosaur spent YEARS in my top spot and the chance to ride it one last time (more realistically, multiple times) is something I will cherish. And then mourn as they destroy it.
Well the good news is if Disney admits it will close sometime in 2026 I am sure the date will slide further and we will have Dinosaur all of 2025 and 2026 😍👍

If there isn’t a billboard that says “Countdown to Extinction” on I-4 next year, they’re all fired.
Seriously, that's a no-brainer. Bring back the name!

I'd love to see them restore some of the original thrill levels too, but I'm just glad it's staying open. AND I'm glad they're not doing a DCA ToT and having us ride in pitch darkness. On Dinosaur that might actually be fun, but I want to see the animatronics.
