You know what's funny?
Between Nirvana, Vanilla Ice and Tupac, the early 90s were a blur.Or maybe you're Peter Quill, and you were there in 1983... and 1994... and 1991...

I don't want to know about your chemical exploits...Between Nirvana, Vanilla Ice and Tupac, the early 90s were a blur.

It's true though.I don't want to know about your chemical exploits...![]()
It's okay, sometimes it feels like Disney forgot they announced this.I forgot this was the test track thread
Nope.Any update of the new Test Track 3.0 pictures let?
But they're testing, so they must be almost done! This refurb has now taken 100 days longer than the 1.0 to 2.0 conversion, and counting (but who's counting?)
Crazy that we still have no opening date or really anything beyond two pieces of concept art and a look at the vehicle wrap. Starting to get a little worried with how weirdly hush hush they've been for a ride allegedly opening in ~3 months

I get the feeling that "Hey heres a look at a retheme of a 20 year old ride that opens in 3 months" doesn't exactly play well opposite ride reviews of epic universe.Starting to get a little worried with how weirdly hush hush they've been for a ride allegedly opening in ~3 months
Well we're the "Dummy's" that get suckered into it..It’s called “Test Track”…aren’t they always testing…?!?!?!![]()

I feel like Disney is treating this more like a standard refurbishment rather than a new attraction. And if so, I have no idea why they would considering its the only new "ride" they have opening this year.Crazy that we still have no opening date or really anything beyond two pieces of concept art and a look at the vehicle wrap. Starting to get a little worried with how weirdly hush hush they've been for a ride allegedly opening in ~3 months
I don't think it ever was supposed to. I think what they meant by "Inspired by World of Motion" was that the overall tone and message of the attraction would be similar (which can be seen by how they say specifically the optimism of world of motion), but the set dressing and plot would be its own original thing for Test Track.I’m starting to think it’s not gonna be like World of Motion at all, lmao
Fair. I took the inspiration as the set design and maybe the song coming back, but if it’s just a generic “wow aren’t vehicles great?” then why even use WoM to bait nostalgia?I don't think it ever was supposed to. Because some Disney fans live on nostalgia and it sells.then why even use WoM to bait nostalgia?
think of how much more glow tape they can apply in an additional hundred days! This refurb has now taken 100 days longer than the 1.0 to 2.0 conversion, and counting (but who's counting?)
