Why does this ride have a VQ still? The one in Disneyland doesn't even have one lol
I think it’s because it doesn’t operate reliably enough to support a standby. With VQ, when it breaks down, your boarding group is not called.

Yes it does break down when boarding groups and LLs are loading too, but think of the nightmare when it breaks down with a 90 min standby full of people.

There’s no evidence this line would reach a 90 minute standby.

The Disneyland version has been broken for 2 months and they haven’t even tried to fix it.

I can't make out what they're saying. So I'll fill in the blanks (forgive me, I think the recent weirdness of some of the other threads is rubbing off on me):

"It's so strange how our boss can only move when the logs in the river through the middle of our factory start floating towards her."

"Yes, and she keeps talking about how great those animals can play. Like, that's literally all she says. I'm a little concerned, because she ought to be discussing our company budget—how can we afford to let all these animals run loose in our food factory?"

"I know, right! The incident with the bear sniffing up all the powdered sugar a couple months ago...I don't think the lawsuits have been settled yet, but it's not gonna be cheap."

"Well, I ain't payin' for it. I say we charge the alligator that hangs around all day between his trumpet gigs. That in itself is weird, because alligators don't have lips!"

"Well, maybe we should get back to work."

"What are we even doing here, cooking? Packing food? Making beignets that will definitely not taste good by the time they get to where they're going?"

"That's true. Who in 1927 is bulk ordering crates of beignets to be shipped somewhere? It doesn't actually make sense. You know what, I quit."

"Me too. I'd say we could hitch a ride out of here on one of the company logs, but they're down for maintenance."
This, right here….is comedy gold.

Broken animatronics yes (this is normal and expected in todays Disney), but they keep running guests through it.

I will thinking of breakdowns that stop the attraction from running guests through it.

Small thread bump, but the ride just had its worst operational performing day ever. The ride was closed for pretty much the entire day until 9:17pm due to technical issues.
Note park hours today for the MK was 9am - 10pm.

Only 40 BGs were called today, all at 9:17pm. This is the lowest maximum BG called in a single day.

The ride may as well just stayed closed today because doubt guests who obtained a BG from the morning 7am drop sticked out for the ride for its (extremely) delayed opening. Plus night and cold weather conditions.

The VQ for TBA ends in less than 5 days, so this doesn't bode well for a standby queue once the VQ is gone.

VQ stats for today and more:
Final Day 243 Stats (2/20):
7am: 6.9 secs
1pm: 2387.5 secs, or ~40 mins

BG 40 (-176) is the last BG called for the day at 9:17pm.

Notable stoppages:
9:00am - 9:17pm

The ride did not open until within the last hour of regular park hours at 9:17pm.
This is the longest ever downtime the ride has had thus far since opening and the lowest maximum BG called in a day.

Average pace: None

VQ Drop Mean/Average:
7am: 38m -> 37m (-1m)
1pm: 1hr 8m -> 1hr 7m (-1m)

That does it for Day 243 of Tiana's Bayou Adventure!

Hopefully it was just a bad day and this isn't the norm as they take it off VQ
