What? How? When?
What: The Yeti.

How: They take him apart and remove him through the access door installed solely for this purpose.

When: I don't have an exact date, but I believe it was around 1-2 years after going into permanent B mode.. @marni1971 might have a more exact date.

Drives me nuts that people will pay an ILL price for a ride that is not working properly for most riders.
Back in the day when Space Mtn was an ILL, I rode with the lights on and was granted a refund when asked.
Last March, Guardians broke down and finished without music- I asked for a refund as a result and was granted.
Don't pay for an inadequate product!

It could be argued that as you were already visiting wdw you were already paying for an inadequate product

Disneyland has announced the cannons on Rise of the Resistance are once again working:

"We’re really excited to share that as of this morning, the cannon guns on Rise of the Resistance are firing once again! Our teams have done lots of hard work to restore this feature and we can’t wait for guests to experience this moment once more."

I guess you could say this is a canon event 😉

Nature is healing. Honestly my favorite part of the ride.

I was at Disneyland today, and rode Rise of the Resistance before seeing this news—and talk about an awesome surprise to turn that corner and seeing the cannons going!

It really does add a lot to the experience. Fingers crossed they can figure this out for WDW.

(By the way, the new HM bride looks really good in person IMHO, and I think most will like it. I hope that makes it to WDW, too.)
