I know when I think of that location and it's proximity to Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge, the first thing that comes to my head is "Hey this is a great spot for a mid-rise modern apartment building or Fairfield Inn...."

In reading some of the comments, it sounds like this will be clearly visible from the shores of The Wilderness Lodge. Is that right? My geographic knowledge of that area is fuzzy

It will be, it's going to be a 9 story building.

It’s really not visible from Wilderness Lodge at the moment until you get to the shoreline.

I’d only expect it to be marginally more visible than Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower, which is to say, not very.

Will definitely have a bigger impact on the Fort Wilderness ambiance.
