Yes. There are posts from late November stating the plans filed are exactly the same.

9 stories. Mixed use. Tree houses. Lake shore, A-frame cabins.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they demolished the Settlement area once the tower is done. It won’t match the new tower at all. Granted, they don’t really seem to care about esthetics anymore, so there’s still hope…

I agree, but I hope they invest heavily in dense landscape between the hotel and Settlement area. Not crossing my fingers though

There are cabins being built along the beach and “elevated” tree houses (third-story living areas) going in just behind those. They’d have to transplant some tall trees to block their view.

That could confuse guests and make some recall Disney's version of an old fashioned swimming hole. Better to call them, "Lazy River", "Splash Pad" and "Swimming Pool".

Yeah it was in Lakeside, and remains in Lakeshore. There have been some changes to the layout, and the shape/position of the pools however.

Added to which there was much scepticism about whether the lazy river would actually materialise. The fact they’ve included it again suggests it might just happen.

My concern is who's going to fill all these rooms when they can't fill the rooms they have now?
