I'll always call it River Country.I will always call it Reflections.

I think the association with be the same with the The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, so yes - legacy non-Direct DVC owners will not be able to book there. Will it be like Riviera, and current legacy DVC owners won’t be able to use points there?
Don't most of the resorts have relatively uncreative names? Poly, Boardwalk, Contemporary, Riviera, Wilderness - they're all pretty straightforward. Only a few achieve more - Grand Floridian, Pop Century, All Stars (funny enough) are a bit more creative.Except Wilderness Lodge did it first. And then it was copied by Great Wolf Lodge. It's not like they should just keep putting lodge after everything. Even Animal Kingdom Lodge is an uncreative name.

The Resort formerly known as Reflections.I will always call it Reflections.

Closer. But many legacy owners bought resale but can still use their points due to being grand-fathered in.I think the association with be the same with the The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, so yes - legacy non-Direct DVC owners will not be able to book there.
Permits and ongoing construction show that the layout and structure of the building is identical of that of Reflections. The brief description in todays announcement also appears to perfectly match what was planned previously.Thank you. So, for all we know, the hotel could look completely different to Reflections and its just using the same plot of land. This isn't a Art of Animation thing where vertical construction had begun so Disney had to incorporate already built buildings
I know what you mean...maybe it's just that it's right next door to another Lodge. Call it what it is - Lakeshore Tower. At least Wilderness Lodge looks like a lodge!Don't most of the resorts have relatively uncreative names? Poly, Boardwalk, Contemporary, Riviera, Wilderness - they're all pretty straightforward. Upon ReflectionsThe Resort formerly known as Reflections.
Long long gone. Can't even remember when the last time it was when they have built a proper resort. AKL?I guess the days of Disney building an actual resort like POFQ or original Poly are long gone. SAD
