I'm getting the impression that this is probably all DVC and no longer has to the 900 hotel room component to it? Probably all DVC? (hopefully not)

Considering the previously released concepts that included Bambi, Pocahontas, etc. it sounds like the same resort inspiration but phrased differently, so probably few changes.

So they added the same concrete boxed shapes to the building which they will paint brown and it will suddenly become "Nature-Themed?" It is the same urban looking mid-rise condo/ motel building we saw before... It looks like urban sprawl...not "nature" or "nature--inspired-artistry" at all...it looks like Gensler office building...

There will be alligators and snakes. Nature.

What is the theming of a Lakeshore lodge? - so generic and boring. They could make it nice, but this has a chance to be the least uniquely themed, disney magical resort yet....and on Bay Lake!

Taking the Reflections name out means nothing (and they probably think it's a big win for fans).

It’s a building on a lake. What more do you want from a lakeshore lodge?!?! Maybe they’ll add a wolf who is great for the kids to hug and a tornado water slide. They could call it the Howlin’ Tornado!

Interested to see if they are keeping the hotel side or making it all DVC.

All well and good adding room capacity but where the park capacity to support it?

Adding resort room capacity doesn’t alter visitor numbers. It just encourages more people to stay onsite.

And as far as DVC is concerned, there is nothing in the sales / deeds about parks. The DVC resorts were open before the parks re-opened after Covid. And even afterwards, there was no guarantee of park tickets or reservations for DVC members staying.

Maybe it's only for us nostalgia purists, but I would have preferred The River Country Lodge - with that rustic ol' fashioned swimming hole more classic feeling Disney theming - with the obvious nod to it's history/location.

They could get creative/innovative with the water slides as a differentiator.

A missing element is fun. Contemporary, Poly, Boardwalk, even Beachclub all have it - Riveria is nice, but was a step back here and Lakeshore likely continues down this bland path.
