Agree. I can't imagine they could do that. I mean, don't you get charged at a lot of those places if you no-show?
$10 per-person on your reservation I believe.

At least, some are the full cost of the meal though so be careful to read the policies for each location. Marie$10 per-person on your reservation I believe.
I read that it's 11:59 pm the night before, except for prepaid meals that require a longer cancellation notice. Note that I don't have personal experience with cancellations.24 hours prior
They almost always honor ARDs and obviously resort guests. If you don’t have an ADR but you say you are going to eat they are more likely to deny parking. In this case it may have been because of the race. If the lot was extremely full and they were worried that guests checking in wouldn’t have a spot I could see them not even letting ADRs in. If that’s the case they should direct you to the nearest resort to park. There are several with a short and pleasant boat ride to BW. If those aren’t available then maybe setup a mini Uber ride for you from a further resort. If not, I agree they should at least bump your ADR back to allow the extra travel time and maybe throw in a drink or appetizers for your trouble or possibly even monetary compensation if you have to skip the ADR because of lack of time.If I had an ADR and was denied parking at the resort where I was dining, my next meal at WDW would be free.
How late can you cancel an ADR without getting dinged? Asking for a friend
Good loophole. If you try to cancel the day of, they'll sock it to you.one time on our last trip we forgot to cancel a reservation and i caught it a hour before. ended up moving it to 2 days later and then canceled it with no fees.

Don't let Bob C hear about that. Hate to think what would happen if he thought they were missing collecting money.when you call on the phone to do it I think it all depends on who you get. sometimes the day of if something arises and you cant make it someone nice will waive it etc, or just move it to a different date. Others, not so much.
I am renting points going forward. No fee's doing that but if I am doing a quick overnight then I will stay on site.Just curious if anyone really followed thru on the threat to move offsite?
Don't forget that they released discounts several months ago because of light occupancy for the fall. It took much longer than expected to fill up the hotels.By looking at the amount of, or should I say lack of hotel availability, I would venture to say not many
