Considering they are using China or melamine pots for the fondue and metal sauce containers it does seem strange they are using plastic silverware. Would have been nicer and more environmentally friendly to use real cutlery and also to cut down on the cardboard trays.

We went yesterday and sat at the bar. While we were waiting in line the manager came over and encouraged us to sit there since it was full service. We shared the chicken with a side of broccoli. Chicken was tasty and moist, well sized. Similar in size and value to the half roasted chicken at Wolfgang Puck Express. The broccoli however was not very good. Described as "charred" I assumed it would warm, but instead it was served almost like a salad, chopped up and cold. It came topped with granola and was mixed with dressing, but unfortunately it just made it kind of soggy. The dish would have been far more successful had it been fresh and warm. We expressed our disappointment to the bartenders and they agreed about the dish. They said the cauliflower is served warm, so that might be a better option. We still had a good experience though, enough I would go back to try something else. It sounds like they just need to work on almost all the sides, odd considering those are usually easier to master.

Went there on day one, and were sadly unimpressed. The sides were undercooked and the sandwiches were unfortunately pretty dry. To top it off, it took over 20 minutes and a team of four separate cast members to try and figure out how to charge our bill to our MagicBands, at which point one of them finally gave up and comped our whole meal. Went back yesterday for a beer (nice to have some more local options, anyway)...and the same issue occurred. No freebies this time, though. This is why soft openings are important...

Photo update as of Monday, August 13, 2018. Employees confirm The Polite Pig is adding a wooden roof to it's outdoor dining patio and overhead fans will be added. There is some outdoor dining tables still available near the outdoor bar (see left side of below photo).

Photo update as of Friday, September 28, 2018. The tile roof has been installed on the roof overhang, which matches tile roofs on other buildings in the area. Overhead fans and lights, and copper gutter have been installed. Cast member states inspection will be next week, and perhaps opening by next weekend.

On our last day for Disney, we went here for dinner. It was very good! I got the grilled chicken. The Food had very interesting bbq flavors. The lemonade was also very good and fresh. It was their own specialty kind.
