The original malfunctioned almost immediately after the December 2023 opening, and it seems it took about a year to design and manufacture the proposed sturdier alternative, which was installed around the holidays of 2024. That limped along until the spring, when the screws went in. Assuming a similar timeline to produce another attempt at the same fundamental design concept, I'd guess we'd see something between January and June, but at this point, it might be better if they're just holding to push out a more extensive fix/rework
