Put this into the not likely but would be so nice to have -
A people mover from the front entrance of Epcot to the world showcase entrance.
Definitely not likely.
You know about the original plans for an EPCOT Centerc PeopleMover, right?

Was basically going to be for commuters on their way to work, right?Definitely not likely.

IIRC - A grand circle tour of Future World, traveling in and out of the Communicore buildings (If anyone remembers, there was a space on the 'second floor' for the PeopleMover track) with vistas of all of their insides and views to what lies outside the center spine. Others can confirm or correct as necessary. Was basically going to be for commuters on their way to work, right?
Yes, well that was for the original city version of E.P.C.O.T.Was basically going to be for commuters on their way to work, right?

But there was originally plans to have a Peoplemover in the EPCOT Center the park version. I can't recall the exact layout but it was at least going to go through both Communicore / Innoventions buildings.
And Lebanon (We used to joke that Israel and Lebanon pavillions would shoot fireworks at each other at night for the show)Remember when Epcot was being planned, we nearly had an Israel, Iran and Russia pavilion!

I shouldn't find that funnyAnd Lebanon (We used to joke that Israel and Lebanon pavillions would shoot fireworks at each other at night for the show)

No. This thread below and FuturePort 82 are about the best info we have.I was actually searching for this topic recently and I can't find anything. Is there any concept art for it out there?

I remember hearing and/or reading somewhere (one of Martin's videos, probably) that at one point EPCOT Center was supposed to have a PeopleMover. Supposedly the CommuniCore buildings were even designed to accommodate it. However, I've never read anything else about it , and no PeopleMover tracks appear on any early rendering or model of EPCOT that I've ever seen.
Does anyone know how, exactly, it was supposed to have worked? Would it have extended throughout the park, with stations around the World Showcase maybe? Or would it have more closely resembled the DLR/MK-WDW implementations and...

Preferably with no screens.Sse desperately needs some new ride vehicles
I wonder if some of the bushes they removed were ones that froze over the winter? They also seem to have removed a tree/bushes that were in this planter previously.View attachment 917277
Yes, that is most likely the case. Even the brand new palm trees they installed last year flanking the front of SSE are completely trimmed and somewhat dead looking.I wonder if some of the bushes they removed were ones that froze over the winter?
Central Florida did get significant freezing days this past winter?

Does Project Tomorrow really serve any function anymore? then again, the park does have enough wasted space as it is.They removed all trees from both Project Tomorrow exits, and they’re now starting to redo the panels there.View attachment 917253
