The sick sick part is... If this got approved * Highly doubt
* They would be making money off the tragedy.
The families will sue. I would.

Also who would sign onto a project like this.. Do these ppl have no hearts?

As someone who personally knew someone who died and who has a family member on the NYPD that searched for survivors I find this disgusting!

It is soo sad that someone would even think of making something something like this and what is even worse is that there are people that would actually Pay for something like this! :(

oh good...so now every kid in town won't need to ask mom and dad to buy it for them...(which I would hope the parents wouldn't buy for them). Great...

NOW EVERY HOME IN AMERICA CAN RELIVE THE TRAGIC EVENTS OF 9/11 RIGHT IN THE PRIVACY OF THEIR HOME COMPUTER...

JUMP FROM BUILDINGS
CRASH A PLANE
KILL MANY INNOCENT LIVES
TRY TO GET OUT ALIVE!

I HATE CORPORATE AMERICA!!!!!

Althought I didnt buy it, I was legally given a copy of Postal 2 back when it was still in progress. I know 3 people who worked for RWS (running with scissors..the company that made it)...the game is supposed to be a huge joke...which no one seems to get. Do I like the game? Not really...mostly cuz its boring and a BIT over the top and obvious over its intent....not saying this justifies the 9/11 game..BUT..i think i see it as a dumb marketing ploy to try and sell copies of a half-______'ed product that would never sell in any other theme. What they will saldy find out (which RWS did)..is the game will NOT succeed. Postal 1 was an underground hit, but was banned in most states....which made postal 2 banned even before it even went gold. "Objectionable" games never get popular on their own....even when they are just underground..they need people and media to give it publicity...good or bad....these guys opted for the bad.

Honestly, how many of you would have found out about this game had it not been such an extreme subject matter. I can list you about 100 other mods being made that are "not offensive" but no one would care about.

You know what they say, theres no such thing as bad publicity.

Dave,

Excellent. I sent the link to them too when somebody passed it on to me on Friday. Hopefully if they do a story it won't end up as free marketing! But maybe it'll stir up enough outrage.

9/11

I also agree that it would almost sacriligious to make a 9/11 game. In answer to the question; "Who would sign onto a project like that?" I say the same people who auctioned off memorabilia of Jeff Dahmers. Some company had made Serial killer playing cards, they auctioned off (and someone bought) the stove and refrigerator that body parts were found. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS!

I'll say it again...you want this to go away...ignore it. Its pretty obvious that these guys KNOW this would turn a few heads, and are hopeing to get publicity from it. The second a news station covers this, they will win.
