First trip was in 1984, and we have been 'almost' every year since. Next trip will be either January or February. It was not only my first trip, it was my daughters first trip. She was 1-1/2 then and is now grown with children of her own. I still remember Chip and Dale playing with her on Main Street in the MK.

I envy those of you who got to see Disney in the "old days". Although I went to DL in 1984, I don't remember it. It wasn't until we took our own kids in 2006 that we got hooked. Our kids were 4 and 8, 9, and 10. I cried during a parade! And my husband was even "giddy" (but don't say I said that). Our first trip was the most cherished one of all. I think the ages of our children are the reason, great ages for Disney! Well, we went on our 5th trip last July and planning our 6th for 2018!

only the 8th man you're still a rookie. We are in the upper teens. My 1st trip 1979. With my family though 1996.

LOL that's kind of what I was thinking considering the folks on this forum! I've *only* gone 5 times and to some people that's "insane." But, at least my kids will be able to say they are Disney pro's by the time they are old like me. They range from 14-21 and all still love it!

i went again in 1989 with my family, then again for my honeymoon in 2000. been going every year since, & again this october.

Although I don't remember it, my parents do. It was shortly after WDW opened. I was still in diapers. I got my head stuck in the railing outside of HM. Maintenance had to come out to separate the bar enough to get my head out. I know no truth to it, but it has been told to me and family friends since. Knowing how dumb I am, I wouldn't put it past something I would do.

I was just turning 3 when we went in 2001. I don't remember much, but having gone every year after that and some years twice, my younger self was obsessed with autograph books and pressed pennies. I had 5 of those penny books I kept in my nightstand and would look at them almost every night. Now, I am more of a mug collector but still really appreciate pressed pennies. I've been 18ish times and the magic has continued every trip since :inlove:

i had lots of autograph books. not sure what happened to them all. i don't like how they do it now you have to stand in line to get them back when i was a kid you could just walk up to a character and ask. they would be hanging about or sometimes you would see them walking through the park. i met mickey mouse my visit that way he was walking through american experience.

i also used to do pressed pennies too but never really got into it that much.

My first trip was in 1981, and I can still remember seeing SSE under construction from the car window...

We have visited WDW at least once just about every year since 1999. Now, both of my children are true fanatics, and we all still get very excited for each trip.

My 36th trip is scheduled for June 24th.

I'm numbering in the 30s for visits. My next trip will be my 20th straight year as an adult. I also have DL and DLP on my resumé, so lighten up rook. ;) And don't forget 5 DCL cruises with two more booked. Ok, now which one of you has a lot more than that to call me a rookie? I know it's coming. :)

1995 was the first trip. We went after DW was released from hospital rehab, her beginning of life in a w/c. Most memorable moments were of the caring attentiveness of the CM's throughout our trip towards her and my DS. That impressed me enough to say more Disney trips were going to be in our future. 2018 will be my 14th trip back.

First trip was way back in 1974 when I was 14. Gosh how I loved every minute of it. I went 4 times with my family before College and career derailed me. There were 3 times during my career when I once attended a seminar in Kissimmee, was TDY at MacDill AFB in Tampa, and visited a contractor in Orlando and each time I managed to "steal a half-day" in the Magic Kingdom but really not much fun going alone. I talked my future wife into a Disney Honeymoon in 2000. Since then only 5 trips. So 13 visits in 43 years for me. We are planning trips again in 2018 and 2020.

Would love to go more often and maybe once my wife retires, we can start yearly trips for awhile. I doubt we will ever stay at every resort or eat at every restaurant. Just too many favorites to keep going back to.

My first trip was in 1990 when I was 3.5 years old. I don't remember much of anything (other than waiting for Kitchen Kabaret and then dragging my Figment hand puppet on the ground while in my stroller) but my parents took great photos that I can look back at. They also bought souvineer books while there that I still have. There was an autograph book that was my prized possession for a long time but that's long gone.

Next trip, I was 8. Next was 12, 14, 16, 19 then many more as an adult. I'm 30 now and I believe I've been 15 times in total. So many great memories. My most favorite trip was our Disneymoon in 2013. We stayed at WL for 12 days. So magical and relaxing.

It was all in good humor and I am sure the OP took it that way. Lately there seem to be a lot of people like you on this site that just seem to be looking for a fight. I really don't care how many times you have been there.

Our first trip was in 1989. Since that time this last trip in December was our 52nd trip. We hope to go a few more times but it getting harder each year. At 75 and 72 we have seen WDW change a lot. For us, some changes have been disappointing. While other have been great. They need to start working on EPCOT.

Our first trip was in 1989 for our honeymoon and this August will be 31 visits to WDW with a few to Paris, Hong Kong and Disneyland thrown in for good measure. We were also there for Andrew and for Floyd and have seen a lot of changes happen to the parks in the last 28 yrs, but I still get misty eyed as I walk down Main St on that first morning every trip.
