Epcot's Frozen meet and greet to offer extended hours

I heard today that Anna and Elsa may be headed to DHS soon. They were actually there today, but doing test M&Gs backstage. Apparently management cannot figure out where to put them. They fear what 3 hour lines at the Animation Courtyard will look like.

I think the Fantasmic entrance would be a great place, or Echo Lake where they did the Villains.

So, it sounds like Disney is taking the incredible amount of demand, that they are clearly not meeting, seriously on this one.

This meet and greet has suffered from poor planning from the very beginning. No forethought or planning at all.

Kristoff and Olaf should have been included from the start.

Ever since "Up" they've been cheaping out on character development. I'm shocked Vanellope got a last minute add

Well, know, it's understandable from one point. When Atlantis: The Lost Empire came out, they had outfits designed for Milo, Kida, Vinnie, and Mole, and that film didn't exactly set the world on fire. I can understand them wanting to be cautious until they're sure a movie is going to have staying power.

They had been trending toward 3-4 with Robinsons, Bolt, Up, PatF

Well, let's look at the next few films. Tangled- Pascal and Max would've been awkward, and villains don't always get the initial character meets. Pooh doesn't count as most of the characters already meet in some capacity. For WIR, Calhoun might not have been considered appropriate, which is a shame, because she's awesome. There's really no good explanation for Felix though. With Frozen, Olaf would be tricky, and if you have one male character and not the other, you run the risk of spoilers.

Well, now it would be safe for Kristoff to meet, as there's little risk of anyone getting spoiled on the romantic subplots at this point. Olaf might be trickier because of his stick arms. Make them like in the movie, and the cast member would most likely have to keep his or her arms inside the body of the suit. If you just color sleeves brown, then there's the risk of Olaf's arms looking wrong.

what about if they pulled a Dreamfinder/Figment with Kristoff/Olaf?

Kristoff could be a face character carrying Olaf around...the arm carrying Olaf would be fake, as the CM's real arm would be operating Olaf as a puppet....

Thats a great idea actually, too bad Disney doesnt have such creative effort or want to spend the money like they use to.
