We did it last year 2x. It was a refreshing change of pace, but still left the ride pretty much in tact for people who have not rode it so many times like me. It was a step in the right direction. Now if they could just bring back the Country Bear Christmas show...

This is the reason they claim they don't do the Country Bear Christmas anymore, and why they've never done the Haunted Mansion or Small World, because about 70% of WDW guests are first timers, or once in a life timers, or people who only visit once a year, ect... and they want to present the original shows for them. Disneyland is mostly Cali locals who come again and again, so they change things up for that repeat business
