Anybody else ever run the numbers on Carousel of Progress?
Scene 1: “just before the turn of the century” ~1900, Jane “teenager” (13-17), mother and father in their 30s, grandparents in their 50s
Scene 2: ~1920, Jane 30s (still single and living at home), m/f 50s, grands 70s
Scene 3: 1940s, Jane 50s (there was a mention of kids but she is talking about going to a dance, maybe divorced and moved back), m/f 70s, grands 90s
Scene 4: “today” 1960s, Jane 70s, m/f 90s, grands 110s
Update ending to now: ~2020, Jane 130s, m/f 150s, grands 170s
I would like to see the building restored to function as a carousel theater but with a new show, not Carousel of Progress.
Edit to add: I just realized that Jane might be a war widow in the 1940s.
