7DMT Animatronics

The Snow White figure will HAVE to have some movement. She's supposed to be dancing! LOL. I figure they only have the few show scenes they do because of the animatronics involved. I have hope the cottage scene will be impressive as well. But it's definitely being kept under wraps for some reason.

If the reports of the mine carts stopping in front of the final scene are true, then it is my belief that there will be an actual CM princess instead of a robot. Otherwise it better be one damn impressive robot that I won't be able to criticize for however long I'm stopped there. It would've been a robot we've seen by now. How far in advance of New Fantasyland did we see Ursula and Ariel? 6months or more? A live actress could easily have an earpiece feeding her names of riders to say hello to. Immersive? You better believe it. could be wrong but we'll see. This post wasn't pointless, was it Steve? I hope you deem it ok to remain.....

My guess for the keeping under wraps is that the scenes simply are not or have not been finished. I would not be entirely surprised if the cottage scene is blocked off the day of the media preview.

And the number of show scenes by all accounts was determined long before the decision to use these animatronics.

So as everyone I'm sure is aware of, you can see Dopey in the last scene from outside the attraction by Storybook...I totally fangirled, of course. Next to him though seems to be some sort of animal, it's hard to tell if it's a deer or a donkey, but either way, looks awesome!

Does anyone have a photo to confirm this?

I would be much easier and cheaper in the long run to have an animatronic than to have to staff that position for eternity.

This made me laugh.....it looks awesome - but you can't tell what kind of animal it is?

Oh you can't deny that, but how stinkin cool would that be!?
I have a hard time believing this will happen. Would it be cool, yes if it could be maintained. But what CM would be able to stand there and wave and call out names for hours at a time. Sometimes she might ignore you all together and sometime she probably would not be there at all. The idea of a "Real" Snow White out front sounds awesome but given more thought I would rather have an AA

Are you saying this is not a cast member because it is "Snow White" or it is not a cast member because it is an AA of Snow White?

Edit, or it is neither one of these and maybe just a movie projected through the windows.

Isn't that what happened to RnRC. Originally a CM was in the recording studio and reacted to the band in the sound booth during the pre-show. Over time, the CM was not always there and eventually was removed altogether.

Yeah, I think it's going to be either a live CM less (likely) or a projection (more likely), just not a robot that will be prone to disco at the flagship theme parks newest attraction.

You know, I actually saw "Chris" grab the black Les Paul earlier this month, for the first time in years.
We went back on the ride later that day and no CM grabbed the guitar, so it must happen only very sporadically.

Now that I think about it, the great movie ride has live performers and there are probably some more rides too. Live Snow White is not impossible.
