They all look so cool!!!!

I'm really looking forward to seeing them when we visit in December. And they're auctioning them off! I wonder how much those will run ya. How cool would it be to own one of them!

I got a ton of pics from Tuesday morning with a lot of the Mickys (Mickies?). There are a few with Roy Disney and some others with at least one other famous person (I'm horrible at picking out famous people, so maybe someone else can tell me who's in these pics... :) )

Currently, I hope to resize them and send them on to Steve later today. An 85M zip bomb wouldn't be nice to drop on our fav WDWMagic editor, now would it? ;)

I'm loving these statues! I created on of St Paul's 'Peanuts' statues that they do every year. While working on my 'Linus' statue there was a guy next to me where I was working that was carving (out of styrofoam) a large mickey. He said that no one was supose to know about it. That day I learned from him how to improve on my Linus. Turns out he was making the original Mickey they used to cast the 75 Mickey statues! Until now I didnt know what they were going to use that styrofoam Mickey for!

I believe that the reason each statue weighs "700 pounds" is because the base is made of cement. The rest could be lifted by one man. I think they are polyurethane or a similar material.
