3 People?

My question is that we are having 3 people coming down to Disney during the first week of Aug. What rides at all four disney parks will require us to split and not ride together? Like I know Big Thunder and Splash Mountain we will not all be able to sit together.

Space mountain, haunted mansion, super speedway, buzz lightyear spaceman spin, goofy's barn stormers, Pooh, Snow white, the carousel in fantasy land, any of the "dumbo" type rides, Spaceship Earth, Rockin' Rollercoaster, Everest.

Think that's it.

Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, Pooh, Snow White, and Buzz, heck even Thunder Mountain, can hold 3 people if they are small. Depends on how squished you want to be. It's only the rides with individual restraints like seat belts or shoulder harnesses that are 2 per row.

Space Mountain is actually 3 rows of 1 seat each, so you will all be on the same car just not side by side.

We are a group of three and when it's a ride like Thunder Mountain we tell them three and they put us in the same car two together and one single.

2 years ago, the rollercoaster riders in my family did e-ride nights. It was me, my mom, and and my grandfather. I was 18 at the time, and we are all average to over weight and we did one row on Big Thunder Mountain a few times. It was fun, but split up if you want the room.

As for the original list, I would not worry about Space mountain, goofy's barn stormers, Pooh, Snow white, the carousel in fantasy land, Spaceship Earth, Rockin' Rollercoaster, and Everest because you can sit right behind or infront of the other people. On Space Mountain, Pooh, Snow White, and Spaceship Earth you will even be in the same car.

Unfortunately most rides require two-and-one seating. We were at MK Saturday and it's me, my Love and our friend. Peter Pan I can report, does hold three adults. And TTA can hold 3 or 4 so long as someone doesn't mind riding backwards. The vast majority though require a little more of a split. It's not too bad most times because you're still close. But things like HM put you in two seperate Doom Buggies. (Trust me, three adults don't fit there.)
