Like I said in my other thread, we're doing a three night cruise in January. We've been talking about going to Palo, but since there are three rotational restaurants that look amazing (and only three nights),we're not sure! Can we fully appreciate the three restaurants at breakfast or lunch? Should we hold off on Palo til next time to experience the "regular" options? Help!!

On our first cruise, a 3-night, we stuck with the main dining rotation and skipped Palo. Never regretted that. Especially Animator's, the dinners in the MDRs each offer a unique experience worth the time to enjoy.

I agree with Sweetpee. If this is your first cruise, and you only have 3 nights, I would stick with your dining rotation. Palo is really wonderful, but for a first cruise, I would recommend experiencing all of the main restaurants with your serving team.

I'm gonna tell you to go for it...the Royal whatever (i forget which is which btwn the Fantasy and Dream) wasn't that impressive at all, so if you could get it on that night, Palo would be perfect. If you know you're Palo night you can even call and request the other two dining rooms around it...but if you're gonna do Palo, why not Remy? Give you a nice warm setting for a few hours in a mild January with an exceptional meal and experience.

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
I have to say skip Palo (cant believe im saying it) You must see the 3 dining rooms! Although you could do lunch aone and skip it then for dinner or even better why not to brunch at Palo??

I am going to go against the grain and say go for Palo (or even better Remy), ... while we loved Animators Palette and Enchanted Garden ... were not huge on The Royal Table, so I could skip it easily, and if your rotation goes, AP, EG, then RT ... you will have breakfast at the Royal Table on the morning you leave sooooo ...

As adults with no kids, (unless you count my Labrador) we loved both Palo and Remy, the service and detail are exceptional and is a throwback to what Disney World use to be famous for ... setting the bar out of everyone elses reach ... way above and far beyond the standard.

A good reason to skip Palo- my favorite food was at Royal Court, and my least favorite food was Animator's Palate. Your tastes and preferences may be different than others, so it's important to experience things for yourself. I'm in the same predicament for our upcoming 3-night, even though it's our second cruise. If we do skip a rotation, it would be Animator's Palate.

We did a four night in February and skipped Palo. We just got back from a three nighter and hit Palo. It was nice having something to look forward to. I'd skip Palo for the first go round and get it on your next cruise. It's good to leave something for your next time.
