The AA girl... I want to say she looks like one of the SeaCastle kids out of Horizons but they were all shorter.. maybe it's because she's an AA that's there a resemblence.

She could definately be the daughter of the SSE Movie Box Office woman with that smile.
 I didn't know that Disney gave them the ability to reproduce!!

Seriously though, it's nice to see Disney using AA's again as it seems to have fallen out of vogue in new attraction design lately.

What I'm referring to is the removal of AA heavy attractions such as Horizons and World of Motion. Sorry , I should have stated that instead.

I forgot to mention that in one of his speeches the pirate AA calls his ship the Wicked Wench. That seemed odd to me. Considering the rumors that the one in the ride will become the Black Pearl after the rehab.

Maybe a pre-mature tribute?

I have a little boy and a little girl and I think these two rooms are sweet. They look like they are hella fun. I'm also looking forward to the opening of the T-Rex restaurant. I do wonder how far Stitch spits. I could see visiting DTD with either set of parents (in-laws or mine) and having Stitch spit on them. That could cause some annoyance.

I would say he spits about 15 feet out from the doors.

Those two rooms really look great. Thanks for the pictures! They'll have to hold me over until I can see the rooms for myself.

I'm glad that they used the two AA's, it's nice to see that kind of creativity back in the Disney environment, especially in just a shop.

The whole theming of the rooms looks and sounds really neat. I'm so excited to check them out!

anyone know how much for the princess makeover - I have a feeling its going to be expensive (especially with 2 daughters!)

Here ya go

"Coach Package: Includes hair style and shimmering makeup -- $35 plus tax.
Crown Package: Includes hair style, shimmering makeup and nails -- $45 plus tax.
Castle Package: Includes the Crown Package plus an imaging package (one 6x8-inch photo and four 4x6-inch photos in a Princess-themed photo holder). Also includes a complete child-size costume with accessories -- starting at $175 plus tax.
Each package comes with a sash, and there are three different hair style options from which to choose: the Fairytale Princess, the Disney Diva and the Pop Princess."

The crown and coach packages aren't so bad...you may want to get/make your princess costumes before the trip.

You know, the more I look at Pete's pictures, the more I see a resemblence to the pirates in POTC... maybe he is a pirate from the attarction that wandered away and built the store with the money he stole.. he is giving back to the community.. He takes the Wicked Wench and sails to Downtown Disney... That way the Wicked Wench is now out of POTC and Black Pearl settles in.. Maybe my mind is thinking a little too much right now...

those pictures and descriptions are great! thanks for sharing! looks like great "attention to detail"! The DISNEY way! The picture of the princess AA looks a little too real (in the face) for me... haha. anyone else think that? The pirate you can def. tell, but that little girl looks REAL!

I am going down at Easter, and I have set a goal for myself to finally get my hair cut to donate to Locks of Love. I really had my heart set on doing it at Disneyworld. Although in age I am not the little princess that the Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique is geared towards, I am making an appointment to donate my hair as soon as I arrive. I'm so excited!!

Actually, I was thinking more the asian girl who had here face up against the glass looking at the seal in one of the windows you ride past. But I can't seem to find a good pic of her.

And am I the only one who's looking at how the girl's dress is designed and is thinking "if it were in black, we'd have the Wicked Witch"? :animwink:

I thought she was real until I read that she was an AA so I agree with you there....great attention to detail!

A new pirate figure has been installed to the left of the doors to the Adventure room.
