Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but...

1. I know that the Splash Mountain capacity is 8, but if you had 9 adults, all normal size, would the cast member allow three to sit in a row, as it often goes with small children?

2. I have never ridden TOT, and I know this question is asked so much, but how bad is it? For me, Splash Mountain makes me feel like I will die, but I find if I close my eyes and breathe out on the drop, I can handle it. Would this apply to TOT? Thank You!

If Splash Mountain makes you feel like you are going to die, then ToT is probably not the ride for you. There are lots of other attractions for you to enjoy at the parks though.

1) Very unlikely - there's a huge difference between the size of adults and children. Split your group between two logs, but somebody will have to sit alone.
2) TOT is more intense than SM - as its a random drop sequence you're never going to know when to breathe out or for how long. Skip it.

I'd say they'd not allow 9 adults if the max is 8.

If you're pretty worked up over Splash Mountain, I'd steer clear of Tower of Terror, its more intensive then splash mountain.

Thank you all! I'll stay off TOT. Maybe a good method for SM is to do a group of 5 and 4. Thanks again!

Definitely avoid ToT if you are fearful of the drop of Splash.

I don't have a problem with Splash, but the drop on ToT freaks me out. I still do it, and question what I am doing on that ride every time.

When I rode ToT last week, I think we dropped 4 times. It was great looking out at HS in the dark, but didn't like the drop afterward!

I hate "giant drop" type rides but I LOVE ToT!!! I like all other thrill rides but drop rides never really do it for me. Not true with ToT though!! It is random and you cannot see how high you are for the most part except for when the windows briefly pop open. You do feel your butt come off the seat though
