Same.I just got a text... many others as well but it’s not my information to share. This is worse than I thought and I was expecting it to be pretty bad.
WDW as we knew it is gone.Same.
According to Twitter sources, all of the cast of Monsters Inc: Laugh Floor has been laid off...
And it isn’t November 1st yet.WDW as we knew it is gone.
It takes experience to be able to interact with guests in a meaningful way. They aren’t going to be able to easily replace a lot of this. Sure, they can fill the spot. But it’s gonna take a while before the interaction is fluid. That stinks. I love that show and the people working it aren't easily replaceable since not everyone can think on the fly like they have to. Yeah, a lot of the show is scripted, but the off the cuff crowd work takes a skill that can't be learned in a training manual.
There is no new on the horizon. It takes money to mount these productions. They aren’t closing them with any plans of reopening them. This reminds of out with the old and in with the new. When they do bring back entertainment, do they have to bring back the same people and give the same salary/benefits as of when they left?
With that said, what about the places? There is no new on the horizon. It takes money to mount these productions. They aren’t closing them with any plans of reopening them.
Maybe they’ll throw in something 3rd party that is seasonal? With that said, what about the places?
Are these verified? Someone just posted in my FB group that FotLK is gone, too...but I don't know how true that is.Also the casts of Hoop-de-doo, B&B at DHS and Nemo at AK
That’s my understanding. So am I reading right that all of the following are laid off:
?
- Hoop de Doo Review
- Beauty and the Beast Life on Stage
- Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
- Citizens of Hollywood
- Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
- Festival of the Lion King
- Finding Nemo the Musical
Wow...That’s my understanding.
You know for a fact that none of the entertainment is coming back? There is no new on the horizon. It takes money to mount these productions. They aren’t closing them with any plans of reopening them.
