when they introduced the extra segment with fire works he says happy 35th anniversary epcot

He definitely said 25. I was there yesterday, and I would have noticed if he said 35. :wave:

Although, the guy who announced that Illuminations was delayed almost forgot what anniversary it was. Anyone else notice that? :lol:

I think you could hear a pin drop right before he said the word "delayed." Everyone was so fearful he was going to say "canceled" instead.

It was definitely an unwanted moment of suspense after such a long and momentous day.

I haven't had rain come down so hard and so SUDDEN since my childhood. I felt one small drop of rain and thought it was blown off of a tree. A second later I felt another small drop and I thought it was going to drizzle again, almost right after that the skies opened all at once. Ah, Florida weather...

That was such a mixed up moment - Martin, Lee, and I plus a few others are up on the bridge and the announcement starts.......I think we all chuckled when the guy stumbled on the year but then collectively almost lost it thinking he would say cancelled.

Still, that was one of the funnest things I have ever done - even with the rain! :wave:

I like at the end when they put the current Epcot logo up and someone said "Booo, take it down!"

I thought it was kind of funny.
