There is plenty of rule changes announced today. I'm only explain the first one in this post
The first one is Daytona 500, Daytona 500 qualifying races , and the Daytona exhibition race are the only restrictor plate races in the cup series next year.
The 2 Talladega races, and the summer Daytona race is going to use a tappered spacer instead of restrictor plates. That means the cup cars are going to have 550 Horsepower at summer Daytona race and the 2 Talladega races instead of 410 horsepower. The catch is the cup cars are going to have larger spoiler, larger splitter and Aero ducts.
I have no idea why NASCAR didn't come up with this sooner. 550 horsepower is going to be the most horsepower at Daytona and Talladega since WDW only had 2 theme parks instead of 4.
