Nascar decided Austin Dillon's Richmond win doesn't count for toward playoffs with 25 points taken away. Austin Dillon does keep the win. His spotter is suspended for 3 races.

What happened here was Austin wrecked Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano on the final lap.

Kurt Busch was arrested 11:32 p.m. on Monday for DWI, careless and reckless driving. Kurt's driver’s license is now revoked for 30 days.
Hopefully, that's a big wake-up call to him. Wondering if the 30-days driver's license suspension also means that he cannot drive on a privately owned racing track (in addition to the regular streets, highways, etc.).

NASCAR announced they will be racing at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the first time ever in the cup series in 2025 and the Xfinity Series will be returning there for the first time since 2008.

Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a road course in Mexico City, Mexico and NASCAR will be there from June 13th to June 15th 2025. It is going to be the first time ever the cup series has a regular season race outside of the United States. The cup race date is June 15th of next year and the Xfinity series race date is June 14th of next year.

The reason the Xfinity Series left Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez after 2008 race was due to declining attendance. The first race there for the Xfinity series in 2006 was very popular, but the crowds went down very quick.

Well that sucks. I understand NASCAR wanting to grow internationally, but Richmond is such a good track.
I agree.

There should a fear that there could be more existing tracks losing a date in the future due to NASCAR looking at doing more street courses. The street courses mentioned that NASCAR is looking at is San Diego and Cincinnati, but does not effect the 2025 schedule at all.

It has been announced that starting at Kansas that Justin Haley will be racing for Spire Motorsports in the 7 car and Corey Lajoie will be racing for Rick Ware Racing in the 51 car for rest of the season

What I do know is Justin Haley will be racing Spire Motorsports past 2024 due to him getting out of Rick Ware contract. Corey Lajoie to Rick Ware Racing more of a job audition to see if Rick Ware Racing wants to hire Corey Lajoie beyond 2024.
