Shocked they didn't push TBA as part of their "Inclusion" along the lines of "In an effort to be more inclusive we're butchering a classic bringing Tiana's story to life. Come spend on TBA when it opens in late 2024"

Heard Iger say that they were investing $17 billion into WDW over the next 10 years. Will this money be going towards the "big projects" people on here keep teasing? And how much was invested over the last 10 years compared to this?

2019 - $4.1b capex on parks
2021 - $2.3b capex on parks

To be clear - those numbers are for all the parks that TWDC controls or partially controls, not just WDW. So $1.7b/year for 10 years for WDW alone is significant.

Also, those figures include depreciation, which can be in the billions.

Iger: We're accessible to all people. Some perspective... our stories have had a positive effect, good over evil, family values, etc...

Yes, some perceived agenda-driven content. But, we're really entertainment driven. We're not going to please everyone, while being aware of their concerns. But we're going to continue to tell stories of greater acceptance.
Chapek would have called them fat.
