It's a drink from the Harry Potter books that is served at Universal and consists of I think fruit juice with butterscotch and with pancake batter or something on top. It is GROSS!!!!!
What an EXTREMELY accurate description. I never would've guessed that Butterbeer had fruit juice AND pancake batter in it. Who knew that those two things would be such a tasty combination?

I can't wait to go back to Universal's Islands of Adventure for a delicious mug of frothy, cold fruit juice and pancake batter!

Family friendly rides that everyone can ride, yes. Another spinner, not really. There are already 4 spinners on the property and they all basically offer the same ride experience. It would be better to offer a different flat ride experience.

A great example is Mater's, which is a whip ride. It seems that this will be part of a Cars Land build and I welcome it because it is something that is needed.

I counted Dumbo X2 but yes four differently themed ones. I guess Epcot should expect one soon in their next expansion...perhaps they'll put a Planes spinner in WS with airplanes of different countries.

Honestly though, I'm sure a spinner is a fairly simple and cost effective ride but surely they could do a dark ride instead if not a simple family ride themed to Star Wars.

Actually while it may take up a lot of space something along the lines of Uni's ET ride but themed to Star Wars would be cool. A dark ride where you fly, similar to the Peter Pan type dark ride.

At Disney World fast-tracked would be 2018.

Disney Exec #1: We've got to get these new attractions off the ground ASAP! Let's fast-track a new land to compete with Universal!

Imagineer: Well, I've got the plans all drawn up. Fully themed, budgeted, ready to go. When do we start?

Disney Exec #1: Hold your horses. Let me see those plans.

Disney Exec #2: We'll get them into the five month guest survey and focus group rotation right away!

Disney Exec #1: Good move. I'll be sure to get copies to every executive throughout the Parks and Resorts branch; they'll definitely have some ideas.

Disney Exec #2: Better make sure the animation and feature films divisions get a look as well; might be an upcoming property we can synergize with!

Disney Exec #1: Excellent. Looks like we'll be ready to open by 2020 easily.

Imagineer: But the plans are already complete...

Disney Exec #2: You have a good day.

Imagineer: We could open in 18 months...

Disney Exec #2: I said good day!

Spinner type rides are exactly the type of rides DHS needs, lets hope they put one in

Flat rides are great for smaller spaces but... DIFFERENT ones :)

Here's some ones I'd like to see rather than the same Dumbo-style spinner

Balloon race
Frog hopper (maybe more of a mini-ToT)
Ferris wheel
Double-decker carousel (always wanted to ride one lol)
Rockin' tugboat
Whip like Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Musical Express/Himalayan
Swinging ship
Chairswings (a mini version so kids can ride)
Flying saucers (jumbo sized version - 4 Luigi's combined into one big flying saucers floor to increase capacity)
Observation tower

You see, TDO has so many choices yet they keep picking the same Dumbo spinner over and over!! I like flat rides but a variety of them. Plus, flat rides are generally the ones that adults usually hate since they're definitely made for the kiddies. Family rides (dark rides and family coasters) are what DHS really needs

I'd be okay with it if they take out the Magic Carpets in Adventureland and THEN built a X-Wing spinner where if you're tall enough (special cars would be provided for preschoolers, toddlers, and babies), you can do barrel rolls and "shoot" the car in front of you... maybe have Harrison Ford or Mark Hamill record some dialogue so they can "talk" you through your "battle"

Can't WDW be much better than a usual collection of carnival/pier rides?

Of course. But a few flat rides here and there are fine, especially if they are well themed and fit the ambiance of their surroundings. I'd prefer dark rides if we are going to "cheap" way to fill the parks, but I wouldn't mind some flat rides in DAK and DHS to increase the ride count.

Either way, the parks need more capacity with rides.

When does that new universal resort open? The one that is affordable and I don't have to buy into a time share to stay there? When that bad boy opens they are going to have lightning in a bottle. Disney... Will have.... Meet and greets!

Have you actually tried it? Because Butterbeer does not have fruit juice or pancake batter in it. Next are you going to tell me how amazing LeFou's Brew is in comparison?

Everyone knows Butterbeer consists of two sticks of butter blended with a Bud Light.

Yes, I have had it, in both of its fiendish versions. I described the foam on top as "pancake batter" facetiously, because I really don't know what the heck it is. Except that it's gross.

Pumpkin juice is pretty good, though.
