2013 Trip Resolutions?

A lot of 'firsts' for my DD- Bippidty Boppidty Boutique, Character breakfasts/lunches/dinners. Straying from our 'usual' restaurants and trying something new, WL and Royal Rooms....And both our honeymoon and our last trip were wonderful, magical, happy experiences, but both were a bit stressful in terms of making sure we had enough money to enjoy ourselves, and we had to cut back on buying souvenirs or extra experiences. 2013 I am resolute in making sure we are on task, on a stricter budget in everyday life, and COMPLETELY foot loose and fancy free our next time at WDW!
I find it so hard to change from my usual restaurants. Good for you! Have fun with your DD at BBBoutique!

going in march with my fiancee and my 2 roommates (my best friend from high school, and her best friend from college) My new years trip resolution is to not curse at any of them for the duration of the trip. (im from new jersey, give me a break)
Love yours! Disney can sometimes bring out the worse of people especially when there is a big group. I'm a Jersey Girl! ;)

Get a reservation at Be Our Guest. I know....me and everyone else going, right? Also, I would love to pick two new restaurants. Morocco and Mexico are at the top of my "hurry up and try it already" list. We are so stuck on our list of favorite restaurants that we often forget there are a ton of other fun places to try. Happy New Year everyone. I hope all your Disney resolutions come true.

I totally understand this. The truth is I like taking pictures..(even though they're only point and shoots) I have taken less and less as the years have gone on but they do bring a lot of happiness looking at them later -

However my resolution would be to make sure that I'm in at least half of them this year.
After 7 straight years of visiting the World I think I've barely got 12 pics that prove I've been there. ;)
OMG yes!!! Some of the only pics I'm in, I've taken of MYSELF (Yes, I'm that dork tryin to get myself with the castle or something! Haha)! I've got maybe 5 where I'm actually in with other people!

I want to be IN pics and in with people I love. Not just a doofus taking a pic of myself there!

We need time for things to happen.

Nothing worse than having to take a "selfie" on Main Street USA...;)

Mine would be this:

- To try more restaurants (usually I like to stick to my normal ones, but I want to branch out)
- To slow down (we usually go from attraction to attraction, I would like to take it easy and enjoy the ambiance)
- Try more snacks (I'm usually not hungry so I don't get them, hopefully this time won't be same)

Hoping to go for Christmas 2013, so my number 1 goal is to earn as many Disney Dollars as possible on my Disney Visa card (so far just over $1300), try a couple of new restaurants and spend one day resort hopping to see all the different decorations.

I think just spending more time absorbing t he parks maybe less time behind the lens. however, with that being said I have a couple of e books on Dslr and one on lighting. Hmmm maybe dededicated photo sessions. we'll see what happens when we get there.

While we're there - experiencing new dining, taking lots of pictures and videos and not being so hard on the hubby whose videos are so jumpy. Before we get there - exercise so I'm ready for the mad dashes (just kidding) and losing weight. After we get back - actually doing a trip report.

To finally go to tom sawyers island (4 trips never been)

To try new restaurants.

To slow down especially in epcot. Normally walk around world showcase in an afternnoon not doing much.

To have more family photos with characters instead of just the littlies.

and finally try to have more fun than ever before.:D:D:D

I'm going solo for the first time in February and very excited. My list includes
  1. Minimal photo ops. Other than having a couple Photopass photos taken with characters and in front of icons (to prove I was there!), and maybe taking one disposable camera for must-have shots, I won't be taking pix. My husband has always made me just a little crazy ;) taking endless photos. I want for once to walk through a park without stopping every 10 feet just so he can take a pic.
  2. Visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Grand Floridian, both of which I've never been inside. Planning dinner at the first and breakfast at the second.
  3. Wander through some of the shops and look for Disney magic touches in the decor. I'm not much of a shopper so I've never paid much attention to the shops and I know I'm missing some fun stuff.
  4. Don't be afraid to act like a big kid. Seriously, one of my favorite rides is the Barnstormer so I will NOT be embarrassed to ride it alone.
  5. Relax and enjoy setting my own pace, find out-of-the-way restrooms (yes!) and check out their themes, watch or ignore parades depending on my mood, and
  6. Take advantage of the Single Rider lines!

My resolution for my next trip (20 days!) is not to exhaust myself. I think it's really easy to get so caught up in seeing and doing and getting over-tired. I'm going back to my resort from noon to three each day to rest!

I'm also going to take the time to see Animal Kingdom fully. It's usually a "ride the rides, get in get out" thing for me, and I want to see the park properly and fully.
