2013 Itineraries have been announced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally! The moment so many have been waiting for! As we expected, Disney has not announced the itineraries for the Magic and Wonder yet. I would expect those in the January/February time frame.

Booking begins today for everyone!

For Disney cruises, the day (the morning, the minute) the new itineraries are out is usually the cheapest time to book. Prices on some sailings go up by hour! If you want to book something, call or email us now!

We’ve got onboard credits to help with spending money onboard!

The rates are high. Period. I'm looking at everything and thinking: Wow. We just switched to the Fantasy in Sept. 2012 a few weeks ago and the prices I see NOW are what we paid with less lead-time. I dunno what the heck we'll do with our last dummy booking we have. Maybe we'll hold out to see what the classic ships do in 2013.

We snagged a cat 4A on a 7-night Fantasy 2013 for a family of 5 for just over 4K .. but now it is in the system as over 8K!!
I am paranoid our ressie is going to mysteriously go poof on us since we got it so 'cheap' LOL
Any other cruise would be way out of our league... I guess the cruise gods were on my side this morning!

It drove me nuts trying to nail something down with the hubby to change our last dummy date over to. It's so hard to think where we'll be and what we'll be doing that far out. It's worse than trying to book dining 6 months in advance. :hammer: Anywhoo, we finally settled on the 9/12/13 western on the Fantasy. Got a 5E aft verandah for the 4 of us for just under $4100. We were able to get the 10% off from switching our dummy date we booked last month or that price would've been higher. I tried to talk hubby into doing a 3- & 4- night Bahamian back-to-back following the girls cruise. I would've been on the Dream for 11 nights straight and visited Castaway Cay 3 times! It would've cost us a few hundred more than the Western we booked. We're doing Eastern in 2012 and have already done a 3-night Bahamian so hubby said he'd rather do the Western. Guess I'll be at WDW for those 2 nights between the cruises. Not complaining! :D

It's nuts how fast everything booked! Yesterday morning at like 8:30 EST I looked at Christmas itineraries on the Fantasy and an inside stateroom was already up over $6k for my family! A verandah room was over $8k!

Was anyone else slightly freaked out by the ages of their children when sailing the 2013 itineraries when they were doing the price searches online??? When looking at later November and December I was having to put ages of 17 & 16. I kid you not, I teared up! Where the h-e-double-hockey-sticks is the time going?!?! One more year and I'll have to put 3 adults and a 17 year old! Frickin' shoot me now!!!!

I will admit, hubby and I are so enthralled with cruising now that we're really looking closely at other lines and thinking hard. My brother-in-law & mother-in-law are both pushing for a big family reunion on RCI's Allure in 2013. I'm watching for those dates to release as we speak. And I got my most recent Travel + Leisure magazine yesterday and there's an article about new ships that launched in 2011 for all different cruise lines and which are best suited to different styles/kinds of travelers. Very interesting read! Yes, Disney's Dream is listed for Family Cruising! :sohappy:

We booked a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy for August 2013! :sohappy:

We (well, I, lol) picked a category 5C, which is a Deluxe Oceanview w/Verandah. This was yesterday morning, around 8:15. Last night I was playing around on the Disney cruise website, and for the cruise we picked, both inside and oceanview categories were already sold out! Holy crap!

Big congrats! Amazing, ain't it??? They sell that many rooms that fast! Just goes to show there's something really good out there that a whole lotta folks want! I've cruised once in my life: last month, 3-day on the Dream. I'm so hooked it ain't even funny!

I know, it is crazy! We sailed on our first DCL cruise on the Dream in August; a 5 nighter. We are so hooked, too. That cruise sold out pretty fast, and since this one on the Fantasy sails 1 day later than that one did, I bet it sells out quickly, too.

Thanks, Tammy! :D

People think we are just trying to scare them by saying book early, but it's true!
