I liked the Brokaw bit but agree it shouldn't have run in such a prime slot. If they want to weave in material on London here and there that's fine, but they could have excerpted 5 minutes or so of the Brokaw piece for prime time and run the full hour some other time - like in the week leading up to the Olympics.

But didn't it seem like he was trying to make that old man cry? So your mother/family died in a bombing raid? Yes. (Not crying yet just red eyed and shaky voice) This is a picture of your mother. (Enter waterworks)

I felt sorry for that man. Not just for what he has suffered but the fact that they are using him just for emotional pull.
